P.s I am 1 of 4 people who could be mad about the ability to level off it since I was already 1100, but its not that big a deal. I am hoping they do this at 1200 so I have a chance to as well

Boo-hoo. So more people are going to get to content. If they did it within the "rules" of the game then more power to them. Maybe if you guys weren't so quick to level all the time every time new content comes out you wouldn't be so grouchy about it not being there. It's like you guys don't even take the time to enjoy it and just rush through it so you can be the highest ranked player and have status or something. What's the rush? I see no need to rush to content as it seems there is nothing there but a bunch of grumps.
More people at content.. okay.. Maybe that will push the cows to focus more on content updates then releasing things for the lower levels now. Are you guys really concerned about the state of the future of game as you say or just worried about your bottom line and thinking you'll lose buff customers or something because more people are at your level?
I'll probably get flamed for this but oh well.

The level 1100 LE creature is part of the Legendary Event and as such surely means it should be commented on here???
BigGrim didn't feel it inappropriate to discuss it in this thread

We now have players sat 15 levels above EoC. I just hunted the 1100 LE to level up to 1101, the 7 LE sets I collected are worthless as the market is saturated, and players are giving them away to each other due to them being so easy to get. It actually felt wrong being able to level so easily, it's the first time I've been involved in an LE event like this but I'm sure the 1100 LE wasn't intended to make things so easy for us????
I hadn't planned on hunting the LE but after slipping 11 places in the rankings due to other players hunting it and BG saying it was actually aimed at EoC players I thought why not!!! (feel unclean no though  ) Shame I wasn't in a guild to give them my guild XP and taxes. lol
I also feel a little dirty. I gained 166 levels off 174.5k stam to get from 935 to 1101. I had to spend a while during my hunt selling epics and potions to get fsp to burn, but I made it from 1000 to 1101 in under 1.5 hours. At one stage I was levelling up from only 41 creatures. Note that I *did* have all of the massive potions and 10% pvp prestige running.
15:49 22/Apr/2011 [Mass from guildmate1]: Congrats to evilator on hitting 1000!!
17:11 22/Apr/2011 guildmate2 GRATS AL ON EOC!
Given that it was intentional by HCS, I don't feel so bad. It might have even netted them a load of donations from people who wanted to maximise their use of the event. However, I can't help but worry that there will be more pressure on HCS for the EOC updates now. Personally, I don't mind - I'll be titan hunting in order to build back up my offline set.
I also got about 30 complete level 1100 sets with no FI running. I can't help but feel that the drop rate was set too high for this creature.

Hey guys - there's a lot of grumbling here about super-levelling, but are we sure there is even a problem?
The growth of experience with entity-level is remarkably linear (at least at high levels). This means that a level 900 player hitting a level 1100 creature would get about 22% more experience than when fighting at level. But a level 900 player should be 1-hitting level 900 entities, but even if the stats are low for a level 1100 LE, presumably they are still 2-hitting the level 1100 LE. Even with all the 2-hit buffs maxed (deathwish, wither 350, shieldstrike ...) that still loses about 20% of their experience. And the net effect: the experience they gain is virtually the same either way.
As I recall, the last time this mistake was made, players were hitting 2-3 times above their level, and that makes a big difference. This time it is at most 20%, and it seems to me that that causes very little perturbation.
1051 stamina for gaining 1 level is not what i'd say " very little perturbation" ;p

that's why I just edited the post to delete it - and I might be off hunting now!

Gratz, I'm sure many of FS would expect nothing less from an FFS player :-)

@BG's post
How much logic does it take to have a level 900 creature drop level 1100 items? That would have fixed the XP problem, the monopoly problem. You guys should hire me as a consultant for things such as this. You would only need to pay me for 10 seconds of time since that is how long it takes to think of these ideas.

I didnt hear much from the people below lvl 900.. But in fact they are the ones who should be complaining. Every player below lvl 900 can demand a triple xp weekend that lasts 5 days long (only for below lvl 900 players off course).
Grinding my stamina every week will have no meaning at all anymore, why would i bother. The guys at the top get triple xp so how can i ever catch up with them.
I know i sound like im whining about it.. And actually, well, i am, and its not something i often do. But this feels so unfair towards 98% of the players, everyone below lvl 900 that is.

I notice that the players who could benefit from this event do not complain. Neither do the guys who allready were at EOC complain.

it is totally unfair, i am just below lvl 900 and i AM complaining.....but it looks like HCS only cares about money......greed....he does not care about anything else

Not entirely true. I would throw some money their way if I had double XP.

Youre even lucky. Your guild made over 3 Billion xp today. you are still part of the winning team even tho youre below lvl 900.
I do not intend to compete against your guild in xp. I know you guys are the best. But this thing just made it impossible for any other guild to do anything about it.
The highest levels got a great present from HCS, the others can try to catch up - But how? they allready were the best before this thing.

1. The people below 900 were able to get access to a bunch of new LE gear.
2. The people above 900 were able to get access to a higher level creature, allowing them a little faster leveling. This then puts more pressure on HCS to release more high level content.
3. Now that people are above eoc, there will be more content pushed out faster.
4. HCS netted some nice donations.
5. The people below 900 were going to be spending a lot of time getting to EOC, or possibly never .. this doesn't really change that.
