61 lvls in one day, all i can say is happy days. I now don't have to lvl for about 6 months i reckon so can focus my attentions on other aspects of the game.

The issue of the valueless LE items is totally valued however, no point having so called legendary items if everyone and their mum has got the set. I believe some try to make their FS living on merchanting and they have lost out due to this. But hey if life was fair we'd all be billionnaires and have hot partners :P

Do think this is a bit of an epic fail though, as people have said, so many have been able to miss out on the big story quests like Karthak and mount Volmar. I believe this happened before with the quango island and people could skip xindyland which galled me having had to do it with only LF175, although i appreciate others did it with out Lightfoot, massive respect to those people pfft that must have been an epic slog.

Happy Easter one and all 8)

Hey, when I did it, lightfoot didn't exist in my guild ;)

I'm a little bored, so I read some of the posts.

This one is funny and so true:

*chuckles* - and where did it say that you all had to hunt it so much so as to get way past EOC ?

especially because of this:

There is hardly any profit at EoC, people just think there is.

One might wonder why people are so eager to get to EOC if there literally is nothing there, not even content.

Opposed to the funny one is the annoying one:

To Shardoom: shar seriously dude . hard earned . if you mean the money thrown at a game. sure hard earned . EoC might an achievement , (a personal achievement only) no one else really cares that a person made it to lvl 1100

In order to be able to throw money at a game, you have to earn it first, usually by working hard. Working hard is a much bigger achievement than getting to EOC in a game. If anyone wants to spend the money they worked for on a game to enjoy themselves, I don't see why anyone should whine about that.

well i dont think he was whining about someone throwing money at the game i think he was saying that if you throw large amounts of money at the game then what have you "achieved" in the game other than proving that you can buy your way past obstacles.

I can only smile. I have no problem with the people who spend money that accounts to my young little saving account. I really would love to say THANKS for paying for H.C.s without you guys paying tons of money, someone else would have to do it :) i do have a problem with someone who says. "omg your ruining my virtual achievement" by having this event.by sitting there and complaining about everything . someone needs to pass out the tissues have them dry their eyes and tell them its time to put on their big boy pull ups.

Well said whammies.

I could care less who was able to level fast... big deal.. they missed game content. I've never been in a hurry.. stopping to enjoy the little things, like quest, finding some rare SE, or helping noobs find an exit.

I'm not in a hurry to pass all that up... makes the game more fun. Reaching EOC means nothing but waiting for something to do in my book...

I wonder why some of these players who cry on here for content Suddenly race through it as soon as it is released, or those that leveled this weekend on the LE on half their stam, they could have waited for full stam and may have content to level on. This week the screams on the forums will hurt your ears for new content, especially considering all those that are already above the current content mark.

In a perfect Fallen Sword World I would partially agree with you, but that is not the case. I didn't race to EOC. I didn't buy FSP's to get here and I have been at EOC for as long as I can remember. The reason we do content as soon as it is released is because our stam has already been overflowing for weeks!! In the last 2 months we have gotten all of 10 levels of very flawed content....and I have gained over 150,000 stam over that same period. HCS needs to do a MID-WEEK content release EVERY 2 WEEKS just to keep up with the in game stam gain.

There are currently more than 75 players past EOC and that number is sure to grow by tomorrow. If HCS wanted to place more pressure on themselves to release content on a regular basis they succeeded. Congratulations!!

unless i have mis read it last content update was up to 1090 why do people decide to go so far past it if you know your not going to get any more for a while
you get content>hunt and level so far past it>then sit and moan for a long time..can't you simply be happy with what you have

What I also find amusing is people who thing that those who gained a massive amount of levels from this, did so by donating to HCS.

Most of the players gaining a large amount of levels, have in fact had large reserves of FSP, which they have been gaining over time. This was the time they chose to spend them. Unfortunately for HCS, this killed a large amount of profit for the company by giving people a means of getting to EOC very cheaply. Now people are at EOC, they have no need to donate. Just sit there and keep up with content, hunting as it comes out and build up banks of fsp again.

From an economic POV tho, FSP used to buy stam is FSP sunk from the game (unlike, say, FSP used to buy buffs). So there is a lot less FSP in the game as a result, and as a result the value of FSP has gone up. This could encourage donations.

It sounds like the 75 people (acording to a previous poster) at EOC were no longer donating much anyway, so whether they will buy FSP may not be HC's concern.

If you consider, that the amount of fsp spent on stamina was greatly reduced, this _is_ a shot in the foot for HCS. FSP -> stamina would be one of the highest used upgrades, and is the reason why people are at end of content. People have donated significantly, in order to gain levels. What hcs is saying by doing this is "don't donate, we will give you events like this"

and for the record, before this event. there was only about 40-50 people, not 75 at 1090 or above.

I realise there are many who won't fathom the extent of this weekend. No amount of explaining will change this. We can only hope HCS are not in this boat :s

I am still in doubt if they did it to get more donations or if it just happened by mistake.

If they did it for donations, it probably worked out for them on the short term only (this weekend was a reason to purchase fsp for some that didnt have large amounts gathered over time). But on the long term, they will get less donations, there are 88 players above content now, who dont need to donate anymore ( i dont see them releasing content up to lvl 1200). And those who bought fsps to get levels did it at a huge discount, so HCS misses out on those possible future donations.

I still believe it happened by mistake. They wanted to give more players access to the drops, but they didnt think players would be so resourceful to level of the xp. They keep saying it was intended to be like that, but somewhere i still believe they didnt want this to happen. I hope so, i cant believe they deliberatly broke the game like this.

Thanks a lot for the event, I really enjoyed it :) and wished I had had more time for it.

I'm just wondering about one thing. If the event has ended, new creatures are not supposed to spawn anymore, right? So I went in to one of the areas to "clean" out the remaining creatures, but now 1.5 hours later I'm pretty sure that there's still new creatures spawning. Are you sure you pushed the "off" button or did you just post the news on the front page but forgot to turn it really off?

I hadn't any time to level recently due to RL chaos, but the event managed to force me to create a few hours to level. I had a good bit of fun, even though it turned into a little bit of a grindfest. I'm looking forward to being able to go back and pick and choose when I will fill in all the quests I missed.

I know lots of folk will be clamouring for new content, but please don't rush buggy content out the door. It might be really slick to include some new quests where rewards are bound. Perhaps replace the volkers items (400 levels is enough with them) or some new epic item (boots or rune, maybe). But instead of certain other quests being prerequisites, how about something that would force EOCers to explore other parts of the game?

You must have arena/titan/bounty/super elite/dominance bronze/silver to continue this quest.

That way people who worry about having nothing to do at EOC will have plenty to keep them occupied. Otherwise, they can sit around whining about being at EOC with no new levels.

not sure what use you have for volkers, but I haven't used it above level 900. There's much better gear out there.
