hoof i see what you were trying to do with this update as relics were giving a big advantage in some areas (ladder) for example but i also applaud the guilds with more than 1 relic in their ability to rally the defenders and holding their relics..its always going to upset people to see change.
surely just capping a guilds relic bonus for each stat at 10 % would free up more relics for smaller guilds to get involved in relic takeovers plus each guild then trying to empower is sinking more gold and plus with only 10% max of each stat you gain more in gold sink thru more pots being used.
the relics could have stayed the same just cap a guild to 10% per stat bonus..then only slight changes are needed to 900+ creatures to make things more interesting for the people levlling.

5% please Hoof...make Relics still useful...:/ I think 5% is a perfect number, you still need 2 empowered to get the max bonus.

No, +5 stam gain is too powerful imo.

what about the stam to get back to the relic used????????????

i think that it should be 10% when empowered.

this will give small guild who can only field 10 people to grab a relic a chance to get a 10% bonus, as all 10 can be on the same relic.

granted this allows larger guilds a cheaper option to get that 10% bonus, and the ability to field more people to hold it more securly.

really any option will give an advantage to the large guilds, but i think the biggest help you can give smaller guilds is 1 relic = 10% so they can have a chance in PvP

either that or remove the 10% bonus from PvP and have it only PvE.


As for a reasonable amount, i think 1M per day for a 120 member guild sounds reasonable.

our relic costs 1k per member per hour.. so that means each emmber has to donate 25k per day to pay for upkeep, or every member has to earn 100k with 25% tax. many guilds have inactive members so i think half what it is now would be better.

what little guild has really spoken in here to listen to the feed back? I see the same 4-5 TOP guilds posting and complaining?


What little guild does this help? now it is even harder and more expensive for them to get extra stats.


It evens out the odds, you don't _have_ to be in a top guild to have the same chance to perform/compete at almost the same terms.


Anyone could empower a relic if they wanted too, now all will happen is top guilds will just empower a few relics, so it will be the same

While on the subject.Can undefended relics lose their empowerment?I think they should. Too many guilds leaving relics undefended, an making deals etc.

Shin,andy....again....if ya read my post from before....We dont care about taking relics..we dont NEED relics...we been doing fine without them...I've even earned my dominance medal against not 1 but 3 20% relic users.....so dont talk to me about not knowing what I'm talking about,....not ALL small guilds want bonus stats.

you said *its completely unfair* and Its 100% fair..

I don't think this update will have any noticeable effect on smaller guilds. You just can't count on the relic bonusses because it can be snatched by some other guild any moment (ok after first hour).

Ever since the update that made relic bonusses % instead of fixed numbers they were overpowered for high level players in my opinion. Some people claim the game is too easy, well let them prove it by hunting with lower % bonus from relics. :wink:

And maybe without every possible epic item in the game :lol: Some of those win-key items could be nerfed too, a certain lvl 60 items comes to mind :P

Well it's all about how long you can keep that bonus. But imagine guilds splitting stam gain relics among themselves in hard to reach areas ...

I don't mind the cost for empowering the relic, but the upkeep cost is really way to high. The relic we currently have give 1K/H upkeep for each member?
We have 50 members right now so that will be 50K/H if i read this right
So 1,2Mill for 24 hours? Thats a real joke if you ask me + for only 3% off the bonuses?


What do you feel would be more reasonable per hour?


In our case would say 100g/H for each member would give us a total off 5K/H for 50 members. That would make more sense to me. I have managed the guild gold for 3 years long now and know another 5K hourly will allready be much to ask from our members and will require even more team work then before. 50K/H don't make any sence.

Definitely! 8)
Stam gain and XP gain bonuses have quite an impact. A bonus on stats of a few percent is nice, but a stam bonus of more than 2 is simply overpowered.
Essentially a high stam gain bonus will make the 6 relics that have stamina gain a lot more powerful and it will probably end up being divided among the 6 biggest guild in agreements between them, while other guilds are unable to take them from them (let alone have any chance of holding them).

Undefended relics already lose their empowerment.

Not really, maximum difference is 10% now, not 20.

Thanks Mick.. this is exactly what a lot of players have been trying to explain for the smaller guilds. To be honest, most smaller guilds could care less about relics.. sure we may take 1-2 here for a hunt or just for fun, but this brings those who had 20% relic bonuses back down on a more even playing field for those who weren't as able to have those bonuses.

And it's not about how much you donate or how much you play, it's about the betterment of the game and bringing in newer players into the game. I find it extremely selfish to always think about "me,me,me". Sure I benefitted from this update just like other smaller guilds or other players who didn't have relic bonuses, but I have posted ways to make the update better to suit everyone. 20% relic bonuses were nice, but they were out of the game balance. Bringing it back down will just mean players will have to adapt and play on like normal.

As for the upkeep costs, I think they do need to be looked into for both larger guilds and smaller guilds combined. Maybe having a max amount per hour (no more than 25-50k/hr for max member guilds). It will mean more gold will be taken out of the MP and guilds will have to plan on what relics they want to hold and how many. They should probably be in line along with the Mages Tower in my opinion (even though I think it's overpriced for max level).

Undefended relics already lose their empowerment.


No, they stay empowered until someone dares to take it ?

+1 - make it closer to most other guild structures.
