Hi all,

We are currently looking at making the following changes to the PvP Arena:

1) Reduce the chance to hit increase of Spin Attack from 20% to 10%.

2) Reduce the activation rate of Ice Shard from 75% to 20%.

3) Reduce the Poison activation from 25% to 10%.

4) Remove the fatigue system from PvP Arena's with combat moves enabled.

5) Change the fatigue system to only affect defense and armor (note the previous suggestion).

Please let us know your thoughts on these suggested changes and thank you to everyone who has given feedback so far.

I agree with many others that the spin attack should enhance the player's attack stat but otherwise, I like the tweaks. Thanks for listening to the feedback. :)

The ideas are great. Keep the fatigue system in and, just have it apply in non-combat fights.

I do not think that Spin needs to be changed. its been fine at 20%.

I think Ice shard needs to be reduced atleast to 25%.

Poison i think should be changed to 10%.

fatigue is a godo idea. in move turneys i do not think its needed.

and

i still do not think it should effect only defense and armor.

minor detail: could you insert the fatigue message within the tenth combat or so? so that the combat results read tidier? cheers ;)

I wouldn't mind Spin Attack to stay at it's current rate of kick-in though..

Verxus.......45% for ice shard to kick is still way to much. 20% is enough....trust me it is good enough. 10% for poison is good too....we don't want def players to play turtle and win just because of poison....how fun is that.

vagabond if you dont like to defense packers win all the tournaments, the spin attack should remain to 20% or go higher if you follow the logic

Is it possible to spawn the new moves more often? Right now i have to wait hours before i can see a new move to enter and it is kinda unfair to those who doesn't check arena all the time. To much advantage to those who already have the moves. Make it even by spawn the moves little bit more :). thanks

5) Change the fatigue system to only affect defense and armor (note the previous suggestion). NO It should affect only on player highest stat in that combat and reducing it around 10-15 % per 10 shots.

If it added a hefty percentage of a player's base attack (like double), it would quickly stop players from using max defense and, conversely, would require the setups currently with all armor/damage to actually need some attack. The only downside would be that most of us would need to rethink our strategies. =)

Yes....decreasing SA also mean that you force those with def/dam, arm/dam to apply some attack and therefore can't just rely on SA alone. That is why 10% for SA is enough and a good arena player is when he/she can rethink the strategy :)

That was actually tongue-in-cheek... I think it would make the arena more strategic. Balancing your attack to hit defense (or your defense to avoid attack) and taking the decay system into consideration would lead to some interesting setups.

No. Spin attack is a wild card, and we need randomness in this game. A game without randomness is pure math.

Yes, this must be reduced to something lower than 50%.

3) Reduce the Poison activation from 25% to 10%.
No opinion. fine to me either way

4) Remove the fatigue system from PvP Arena's with combat moves enabled.
This does not seem to matter. Aren't most arenas with combat move finished in round 1?

5) Change the fatigue system to only affect defense and armor (note the previous suggestion).
Not sure, but this makes arena dynamic.

Overall, I feel the ice shard must be fixed. Others are optional and I want to see changes. :D
