Just imagine how bad the lag would have been had it have been on a Saturday or a Sunday ? - I think the timing was deliberate. Would have been better to have had it mid-week IMO...

What would've been better is having a bonus XP event from friday to monday rather than forcing everyone to hunt on the same day, that should produce little lag and give everyone a decent chance to get involved, and do the scavenging the weekend after.

Thanks for putting critters in the cave HCS, but a couple of the choices were poor. :?

Xind Imperial is a good enough choice.
Bahmou was alright, but the prices have become way too low now :/ Already 10 fsp for a set!
Marshman was a bit pointless. You can get a set in AH for a few fsps.
And Masaryk was only in the realms not so long ago, so you can still get some pieces for gold, lol.

I don't think anyone checks to see what creatures have been around, nor read the suggestions in forum as to what is good for scavenging to help out the MP. No matter that newbies have to level for a month to get an fsp together, or start farming at 40/1 so inventors can keep some incentive to spend hours making low level potions at a reasonable price, and then spend more hours trying to get rid of their gold.

i think it should be done in a potion form for the event and the potion only lasts for 2 or 3 days or less in your BP and then it gone from your if you dont hunt or it wont accept it in game after that time period up then no one is pressured to hunt and much much less lag and CACHE failure

I like legendary events as much as the next player, but the gold involved is way too much for the rewards. It was better when a legendary creature shows up somewhere on the playing area rather than in the scaveging cave.

yes realm LE are alot of fun but the reason they have been moved into the caves is to get rid of gold. the more gold that is taken out of the game in the caves the lower the gold prices of FSP.

but isn't sinking gold more important than sinking stam? i could be wrong but the gold sinking would be better for the game in the long run than realm only LE.

But as pointed out, most of the old Spines don't do terribly well in the caves.

Others do loads better, as do brand new ones. We'll see as things progress.

Spine sets that you have to invent to use up some of the existing overloaded items in the game would be good. And I'm not talking 10 of an item with a low chance of success. Make it easy to invent, make them decent hunting sets. It's good for the economy this way. Plus, once the items are in short supply, you can release them in the caves. Whatever you release in the cave can drop the recipe and 2-3 components to invent the set. Two piece sets seem to be your thing with most spine sets and even le sets now, so, make both pieces inventable. Don't just randomly decide either. Look at the gear, see what would work wrll together.

I just went through 100 fsp looking for Xind Imperial drops. I realize the event is ending shortly within the next hr or so, However... I didn't receive any drops????

Find Item 1000
Reckoning 175
Quest finder 150

An No drops??? Surely it shouldn't be this pricey, nor could anyone's luck be this bad??? However I seem to be the lucky one who just dumped 100 fsp for nothing... =(

Maybe realise that with the Smashing Hammer buff these days, some of the less used inventable sets have become suddenly desirable? Is easy enough for people who actually play the game to figure the changes, with Coord and SH.
And even if no crystalline, there's better normal LE around that are worth spending some gold on. Getting the lvl 5 drops when trying for Xind, is not much of an incentive.
