I am posting this because sending in a ticket several days ago has produced no solution to the problem.
Power Attack states that it adds 20% damage bonus for following combat rounds. I have suspected that since the arena change it has not been working correctly.
My theory was confirmed after this combat. I was running high damage and hit in the first round for 77 damage. Now, with a 20% damage bonus from PA one would assume that the next hit would kill the armor user. However, as you can see from this match it continued to do 1 damage. Even later on in the combat, more PA hits did not give its 20% damage bonus.
Please Fix this.

EDIT: Other arena players and I have also been noticing that Counter Attack seems to trigger an absurdly high chance vs spin - instead of what it is listed at 20%. Perhaps it was switching accidentally in the code to not activate 20% of the time.

My favorite is, "We'll look into this" only for the ticket to to be forgotten into oblivion.

I would start posting every ticket, including multi names, in the public forum so every player has a chance to see what the problem is or if it isn't there.

Good luck!

That's because the forum is not the place for Support. Support is.

That's because the forum is not the place for Support. Support is.

And if things always worked the way they are supposed to players wouldn't need to get creative to get results, all due respect.

Hi Placeboo,

Your ticket was passed to the coder section of Support, as this is a code issue and not something that I can fix myself. The ticket is only a few days old which is not unusual for a code ticket as the coders do not access Support every day due to the time constraints.

I will be happy to ask them to look into the coder support as soon as they can today, and will bring this issue to light for investigation as soon as they are free to do so. Please do note that all the tickets are looked into, but they are prioritised according to how serious the issue is and also how long it will take to fix. I can assure you though, they will look into it!

Luisspamer, again, I do not believe that I have ever not replied to your tickets regarding Clone reports in a timely manner and all accounts had been dealt with in an appropriate manner. We understand that this is an issue you feel strongly about, and we do all we can to minimise cloning issues within the game. Thank you for all your comments regarding this matter :)

You're welcome. And with all due respect I don't believe HCS is doing enough to minimize clones.

But I digress. My aim is to help improve the game I enjoy playing. I am not trying to admonish you for doing your job, only help by giving feedback which is something HCS has always asked for players to give.

No, your replies to most disciplinary tickets are normally swift and much appreciated. The biggest problem there is is the arduous task it takes to report someone through Support. Make it easier for players to report for you and player-policing will become better. See your not-yet-realized post here: viewtopic.php?p=1161088#p1161088

It is the coders that may never reply, or if they do it as if they hadn't read the ticket. I'm baffled by who these "coders" are or is it only Hoof and a couple others when and if they have time? It can be downright impossible to get an outcome so most players have stopped helping you improve the game through Support tickets, myself included. See this self-explanatory thread dated a year and a half ago: viewtopic.php?p=867338#p867338

So player Support dissatisfaction is nothing new.

Clones, or multis, are an all together different disciplinary matter that HCS has not addressed properly, in my opinion. A proactive method of detecting clones is required, something like an IP address detector that would require two players playing from the same address to prove they are actually individual people. That has always been the policy as I know it, yet multis are rampant in the game. The long standing reactionary policing when players report a cheater has not ever worked even well, but miserably!

Another two to chew on and ponder.

Totally agree, better if reporting someone is one click way and you can add some infomation on it. Basically instead of opening a new tab and logging into support just be able to report someone straight from fallensword.

As long as the cows insist on the player base providing proof of multi's, rather than THEM policing it, then the problem won't go away. There are many ways they could police this, the IP checker being the simplest - but that will take time and, I'm sure that the response to that will be that there aren't enough hours in the day already, without adding that to the list of jobs to do daily.

His was not bumped up, it was only created a few days ago, hence me saying 'the ticket is only a few days old', and that is a relatively low amount of time for a ticket to be there without an answer!

We thank you for your all of your comments regarding the cloning issue, it will always be an issue in all games that do not allow it. We for obvious reasons do not discuss our methods of clone detection, as publishing this would only allow people an easier ability to get around it.

Players comments are always taken into consideration, and we deeply appreciate your concern for the games integrity, but as we cannot discuss the issue at length players are not made aware of true status of the issue and discussion simply leads to speculation and false statements. I can assure you that if we feel that there is any further steps we can take to limit the cloning activity within the game, we will take them.

I am more than happy to perhaps discuss an easier way of reporting problems to me with the coders, but a simple and brief Support ticket is the best way at this time.

Thank you :)

Dont think the problem is the response, a few do slip threw and get missed, its how to report someone. As Xakano & Hoofmaster does a great job with answering all my tickets.

My ticket I commented on earlier. has a one line reply from hoof asking "which browser this effects" where it's already stated in the ticket.

I have had many many tickets follow this same path. Unless you are quick enough to catch hoof WHILE he is looking at tickets, you are in a situation of waiting 4-8 weeks for another reply.

Lol every ticket i have ever submitted about clone accounts as you like to call them has been from a person who has admitted to being a clone in skype conversations and done so repeatedly, these people are driving buses trucks and battleships around your detection systems.

Unfortunately tickets that go to Developer Support are generally not easy to fix/solve. We responded to around 50 tickets there last night, but there is still around 20 outstanding. We should have them answered later this evening.

Apologies for the delay in responding, but be assured that we will do our best to resolve your ticket.

Yea well, support doesn't give much support a lot of times. :( All the support type threads posted on the forum should make that abundantly clear.

I have looked at your ticket history there and cannot see anything that has not been resolved to what seems to be your satisfaction, feel free to write us a ticket or PM me with anything you feel has been unresolved.
