00:36 27/Jul/2011 Your guild obtained the item 'Skaldirs Frostbitten Steps' from your guild's contribution to the defeat of the titan 'Skaldir the Chill (Titan)'.
00:37 27/Jul/2011 ******** took the item 'Skaldirs Frostbitten Steps' from the Guild Store.
00:37 27/Jul/2011 ******** has left the guild.
The problem is, the epic item is added to the guild, allowing anyone to take it.
Yes, we reported the thief, we got our boots back and he was terminated.
What I am suggesting is any of the following methods to reward the guild safely:
- Add the Epic Item to the mailbox of the player who achieved the most kills.
- Add the Item to the guild Mailbox/Store but it is auto-tagged.
- Add the Item to the Guild Founder's mailbox (If he/she has been active in the last 24 hours). If not, it goes to the highest rank player who has been active in the last 24 hours.
- Implement something like a 'guild safe', to where the item goes, where only players with a certain ranking permission can take it from.
- (Suggested by LawDog26)... Instead of directly adding the item to the guild store/mailbox, award the amount of TKP necessary to buy the item.
I believe any of these methods would make it a lot safer to people who secure titans, so they can safely get rewarded, without the threat of thieves taking the items.

This I believe is what needs to be implemented(should have been implemneted the last time this happened), afaik only certain member can take items from guild mailbox so auto tagging isn't much of an issue here.- Add the Item to the guild Mailbox/Store but it is auto-tagged.

best way might be to put a new option to allow founder to chose a person in the guild that will receive it in is mailbox ,most of the guild have a titan leader so founder can allow this player to get it
This could cause a couple of problems:
- The chosen player may become inactive and therefore the item will be lost.
- The chosen player could turn out to be untrustworthy, and could also steal the item and leave.

But then, if you wished to sell the item, you'd still have to stick it in the GS to untag it, which is equally insecure. Why is it not allowed to tag/untag items from players' backpacks, anyways?
It is still a much safer method to auto-tag the item because as you saw, the thief in my guild sat and waited for the hunt to finish, so he could immediately take the epic from the mailbox/store. When the founder/player is untagging the item, nobody else knows exactly when the item will be stored, so it more than likely won't be stolen.

Add item to Founder's mailbox/Highest ranked active player. This is a bad idea because the highest ranked player online could be a low level.
It says the highest ranked player who is active within the last 24 hours.

Just over-complicating things.Add item to Founder's mailbox/Highest ranked active player. This is a bad idea because the highest ranked player online could be a low level.
It says the highest ranked player who is active within the last 24 hours.
Auto-tag,
that is all.

Titan hunting is a guild activity, so the auto-tagging the drop makes good sense. 8)Just over-complicating things.Add item to Founder's mailbox/Highest ranked active player. This is a bad idea because the highest ranked player online could be a low level.
