I never did get a answer to my question in the previous thread so I'll ask it again. Why was Guild XP lock introduced into the game? Thanks.
Sorry - missed your question before
The idea is to prevent a guild's level dropping majorly because a few players who have heavily contributed towards the guild xp decide to leave it.

All right, if it's that simple, why the furor over making the guild's xp lock decay over time?

Isn't that the whole point ?? - the people are no longer in that guild, therefore the xp they contributed should just "go" too, rather than stay "locked" ??

No, I don't think so sir. The developer of the game just told you why he introduced guild xp lock. So that the guild's level would NOT go down just because people left a guild. Case closed in my opinion.

Yup, that's what he's said - either way, it's a moot point, 'cos we now have a realistic view of who the top 250 guilds are (and guess what, we rose 19 places on that list) and not one (as a default) that is a bloatware version of the top 250.
As you say, case closed - think everyone is happy now.

isLove the update, you guys are smashing through all these updates and problems really fast i like it, good job
Now if we could only get some more FS adertising to bring in allot of new players!
That is another thread!!!
I liked the idea of knowing your efforts joined those who came before, so locked Guild xp make sense to me. Those who reached high level are GIANTS in the game and their efforts should not be removed because of a few mice.
On the otherhand, it is hard to compete with giants.
I'm hoping the two list solution make sense and (i'm hoping) decay involves only one list.
My 2 cents
