anyways back on point, I had an occasion where I was scavenging in the caves and clicking all the garbage to delete from my pack. I clicked on an item that had it's image changed as it was not something I recognized. Thankfully it was different enough for me to scroll over and realize I wanted to keep it. A simple notice would be great so I can go to my BP, look at the item and at least be aware that there was a change made.

Given the rate at which Forn is updating the items, it's really not practical to post news every time he does so. The images have a pop-up. Please check them when you see something new in your backpack.

Hey there Guys.

Thats not always effective when scavenging in large quantities and trying to move quickly to maximize buffs, MP listings and reselling in the AH. Even a quick, "hey we updated more images on old gear" in the forums would be better than nothing.

You should never deposit something you don't know!!! If you keep to this principal you wouldnt have this trouble and you would have been used to the new images.
ike Biggrim said ... they are changing images often, that would just bump all bigger changes from the game news, there are also players that dont come on the game daily and I think t is more important for them that they know a special event is comming or that they changed something about the game than these minor updates.
Altough a topic on which images have been changed and which would be changed in the future would be welcome on the forums.

All I have to say is that folders help with this immensely. If you absolutely don't want to drop something, put it in something other than your main folder. All newly-collected stuff goes in the main folder, so you'll know whether it's new or not. That's not always effective when scavenging in large quantities and trying to move quickly to maximize buffs, MP listings and reselling in the AH. 2. Hades does have a point though.
Sometimes especially if you are using a FI potion you might get a lot of junk items (at least from your point of view). I have accidentally discarded items too. This is includes items that are in an alternate folder. I thought I had done a move to the wrong folder instead of a delete, so I deleted. My fault completely. I have never blamed or will blame as we do have the pop-up. But it can get confusing especially when you are in a hurry.

(Or at least a range of levels where the item images are going to be changed next)
