bound item suggestion.

make us (the players) a second backpack that we can store bounds in, and only bound items.
the idea is that we would have a second backpack with 3 starting spaces that we cant store bound items (excluding special AH items) in
then, like the normal BP, you can buy upgrades for it as well.
EDITS SO FAR: 3
ignor this, its me just ranting about space, but with a valid point XD
i suggest this since i know how annoying it is. i used to only have 4 bp slots, now i have 12. when i had my 4 slots, 3 of them were always taken. aether essence, the cake (doubler epic), and the conserve pot recently given to us. now i know the potions can be used but im saving them. with only one actual space, i couldnt really do anything. item spaces are a real major pain in this game withought fsp.

Yeh its a bad idea. Just buy the backpack spaces or destroy the bound items. HCS will not give unlimited ''Bound'' backpack spaces. If it was implemented, which i highly doubt, they will give 3 spaces and you would have to buy the spaces for more.
well thats better then nothing. you cant exactly destroy some of these bound items. you cant get them back for quests, or weapons for titan killing

Probably another reason why some players leave the game!
Before I get flamed, I understand that HCS is a business and they want players to donate to get FSP's to upgrade there character , but I would assume that most players dont donate till they have been playing for a little while. If they leave FS because of the lack of space, that just isnt smart because they could have became future donators.

This is why we as players should start with more backpack/components spaces, some players will never be able to finish quests because of space requirements.

i almost left for that myself once. now, im not still saying we need unlimited spaces anymore, but mabey 3-5 starting bound only slots would be nice

What.... a potion. Dont like to loose the space drink it and have done. Just cause you decide to keep a potion doesnt mean the game has to change cause you dont wanna use it. Or, just upgrade you backpack spots.

The recently handed out conserve pot is a case in point. Most low levels just took it out of the MB, to have a look at it I guess, or just because they're not used to having things float around in there, even if it has a lot of hours on it, scared to lose it, whatever. The amount of newbies leveling with it, sometimes stopping with half their stam, as they are wont to do (homework, mom calling, not knowing where to go and no one in guild around, etc etc), only for them to realise afterwards they wasted a nice pot.
Screaming at people to get BP when they can hardly get any fsp together really doesn't help much, as guilds usually will tell them to use their hard earned fsp to get some more max stam so they can hunt once a day, which makes everybody's life easier.

Maybe another idea to use in tandem with this, for player retention, is to make the initial (normal) backpack slot upgrades cheaper - and then they increment to their "norm" of 15 fsp per.
Something like, perhaps
1st slot upgrade costs 1 fsp, 2nd costs 2 fsp, 3rd costs 3 fsp - until you reach your 15th and then they are all 15 fsp per slot as they are now. That would probably get more folk sticking around, which, let's be honest, HAS to be a good thing.

would not be too over powering or cut HCS profit to deep but would keep members happy.
but a definite no to the holding of bound potions and such. you want to keep them around to hunt at a certain time with then you should make space to do so. HCS give 7-30 days to take those out of the mailbox when they give them out and thats more than enough care given.

I think the solution would be to have a 3 space pack for bound only items (bound potions as well*) provided at the start of the game (or maybe allocated at a minimum level of say 25?), with extra slots buyable for maybe 5 fsp - the lower price reflecting the relative use of those slots.
For help in retaining new players a larger initial (normal) BP, perhaps combined with initially cheaper upgrades.
*Edit: Bound potions from AH specials should be excluded.

Gold / Kill peaks at about Level 310 or so - and then drops again twice - once at 1601 (from average 300g / kill with no doubler/mer/th to 250g / kill) and then again at at 1626 (down another 50g / kill to an average of 200g / kill)
