I believe Dotaboys was wearing armor and successfully weakened you to the point where he can hit you. if your PS didn't freeze you would have gotten him though.

I believe Dotaboys was wearing armor and successfully weakened you to the point where he can hit you. if your PS didn't freeze you would have gotten him though.



What I find interesting about that match is that dotaboys activated every single weaken, fire, and pretty much every other move under the sun. That seems to happen to me a lot recently. Kinda hard to beat someone with a 100% chance to activate their moves and you are only successful 1 out of 8 or so. Call it a lucky match if you want, but I see it too much for that. I believe that some people are just pre-determined to win, and some to lose.

My point being, how he managed to get 6 weakens and an ice shard, all successful; the fire blast is negligible, but certainly, utter nonsense.. :l

I think there has to be something in the gear setup that allows weaken to kick in more or less. I can't think of anything else. The percentage of weaken kicking in is 50% chance.. but in some matches it seems to kick in 100% of the time. I've seen matches where it kicks in 8 times successfully to no avail. This is where HCS needs to improve the arena, so that we can more accurately understand its percentages.. Either the description of each move needs to be modified or the programming side of the move needs to correspond to the description. Currently, 2% doesn't mean 2%, it could mean 70% according to the combat results.

I kinda feel this way too. I'm pretty much predetermined to lose. If there is a possible way to get squeezed in the arena, it will happen to me.

On the other hand, the 2% factor should be REMOVED from the arena. Move arenas don't need it and non move arenas have fatigue, so not needed there either. It is really beyond me why its even there.... :roll:

I really don't think there are kits that allow certain moves to "kick" more often than others. Think about it from a coders perspective.... seems like "time of the tournament" or "level" would factor in more than certain gear.

The descriptions to the moves need to be much more clearly explained, but the reason why they aren't is simply the arena is too buggy. Imagine if they described the moves in black and white, and then there were discrepancies in the arena and the move didn't work as they explained... There would be just as much uproar as is already.

Therefore, they need to modify the programming side of the moves. Take out all the secret attack boosts and damage boosts and all the other glitches that are coded into the moves. Take out the 2%. Allow more arenas at once. Add more items to win. Larger tournaments. And maybe even a class system where those with 4k wins aren't beating on those with 10 wins all the time.

A level 253 won a level 682 player. AKA its down to luck/moves not skill/armour.
