ffs aren't the only guild who can hunt them. common misconception.

HAHA, just have to go to the Top rated list and anyone above X level can hunt it. Many guilds can, but ONLY a few bother.

Sounds like Clash of the Titan's but..... I like it :D

But i cannot be bothered to chase them around for scraps. It will be like the fawkes wickerman and nobody (expect titan hunters) will win.

Why not triple the amount of kills needed and make it a legendary event instead of a titan one.

If they added more titans to hit, you would have a better chance on the remaining / original titans. perhaps things would be different ...

speaking of, why not make the tiatans only availible to a guild that has defeated it after the next one of its kind is defeated? open up the oggy and kracen from guilds mining the items off them. course it would be difficult for the elemental guardian, since ffs is the only guild that can really hunt it lol

Theres no point in it being a competition of you are going to limit some of the best guilds from winning/getting the item, besides its would really be FFS vs Rise Against trading on/off w/ a sprinkle from other guild...

Btw, why would the god themselves fight first? Would they want to send out minions to destroy us before joining the fray?

then get out there and practice.

it's one thing sitting back moaning. It's another getting out there and trying to improve yourself.

What you choose to do says a lot about character.

@dragon1234

i loke the minion idea ^_^ and heres my improvemwnt on it.
priest/priestes of (osverin, ect.) that could be found in a different area depending on lvl, drop recipes, which makes the gear (like the helm) and you have to have that item to be able to attack that god :D

Gold / Kill peaks at about Level 310 or so - and then drops again twice - once at 1601 (from average 300g / kill with no doubler/mer/th to 250g / kill) and then again at at 1626 (down another 50g / kill to an average of 200g / kill)

I have practiced i almost have my titan medal. I have tried defeat oggy and not get a chance, maybe 300 kills then skaldir....same not a chance. I find that when a titan lands on you and you quickly refresh the page and somebody has moved alway accross the map and killed it before you is unfair.

Each God would have an HP of 50,000 and be on maps similar to how titans roam.
Saharia would be a level 50 God
Osversin would be a level 450 God
Gurgriss would be a Level 850 God
Lindarsil would be a Level 1250 God

Then there would be 1 long quest Linking all of the gods to be defeated in order, to gain access to the next God.

1st step Defeat Saharia 500 times to gain a Level 50 Helm of the Gods with +1 Stam and XP gain

2nd step defeat Osversin 1000 times to trade in your level 50 Helm for a Level 450 Helm with +2 Stam and xp Gain

3rd Step Defeat Gurgriss 2000 times to trade in your level 450 Helm for a Level 850 Helm with +3 Stam and XP gain

4th Step Defeat Lindarsil 3000 times to trade in your level 850 Helm for a Level 1250 Helm with +4 stam gain and XP gain.

Good idea, I like a different quest-based way to bring epics into the game.

Some variants maybe:

1. Spawn odds - as the quests are sequential I would like to see the Gods spawn one-at-a-time (to reduce some of the lag we'll get!) and favor the lower level gods:

Saharia: 40% (Make this 500 kills for level 50 armor with +1 stam gain)
Osverin: 30% (Make this 1250 kills for level 450 armor with +2 stam gain)
Gurgriss: 20% (Make this 2250 kills for level 850 rune with +2 stam gain)
Lindarsil: 10% (Make this 4000 kills for level 1300 inventable helm blank, resulting helm has +3 stam gain)

You need the "spawnage" to reflect the distribution of players a little and the fact the no one will be able to hunt the higher ones initially.

2. Spawns should be random, but set at a ridiculously low number (like 0.5% chance each hour) so you average about one spawn every 10 days, and a new one can't spawn while another is active.

3. Items should be unbound, but you need to turn one in to start the next quest. So you can sell it if you want, but you put yourself (voluntarily, so no whining please!) in the position of needing to buy an item to start the next quest someday.

4. Gods should start with 72K HP and decay 1K every hour, even if being actively hunted. This de-spawns them after 72 hours if nobody hunts them.

5. Reason for upping the kill counts a little... I TKP'd a Dragonbane Armor, finishing second in every titan hunt I did. It takes 8000 kills + 50% bonus to get Dragonbane +3 armor, it should take 8000 kills total to get a Lindarsil 1300 +3 helm!

6. I don't see any great need for this to be a level playing field. The best hunters will get their 500 kills and move on, so by the 3rd or 4th spawn of Saharia you will already have many of the fast-connection hunters done and waiting for the 450 titan to spawn. I'm not one of the best hunters, I can pull a few hundred on an active titan like Oggy, but this has a chance to be the Epic quest the weapon ones were supposed to be!

7. None of the items should have damage above their level x1.5, this makes it unlikely they are the best hunting items at their level.

8. Level 1300 Titan? There's only a couple players there! Yes, you're right. But do some math. Given the time to code this (after Christmas certainly, Cows have things they're planning already through Christmas!), the competition for the lower titans, and low spawn rates, it will be months and months before too many players can even hunt the higher titans. And 4000 kills is gonna be somewhere around 30-40K stam for those top players to get their shiny new helm.

I like it, but not as an event but as a new series of EP quests.
