Congrats to the winners!! There was some really creative pictures. And nice to put faces to a few names.
I am curious how 1 of the winners created his photo without editing it. The photo appears to be 3-4 different photos overlayed than faded down to blend/merge together. I'm not an expert with cameras and I thought that was an effect only obtainable with editing software like Photoshop/GIMP but I can see now that I was wrong since the entered pictures were not suppose to be editted. I would love to learn how to take pictures like that with my camera. :)

If you talk about mine, i had to jump through hoops to edit the map... :) after a few hours of map-editing though, i had to print in, in order to be accepted as a normal photo... :) damned flash ruined at least 60 shots on that map as it shined... :)

For this one : http://a1.sphotos.ak... ... 3124_n.jpg , it's a very different approach... :) in good cameras you can select the shutter to not close instantly, thus allowing for what looks like multiple layers... :) it's tricky, but great :)

[Edit : When you say soon, should i be worried i haven't got my reward yet...? ]
[Re-Edit : resolved XD]

That's the one I meant and what I wanted to try. (Love trick photography).

the link : viewtopic.php?f=1&t=105413&start=135 , on page 10...
Also a good photography trick (in case you can remove your lens (because after it it WILL need cleaning)) is to apply Vaseline (don't laugh) in a circular pattern on the lens (thicker outside, none at the center)... The result will be likea focus blur effect... :)
