I doubt I am the only one, but I seriously dislike the new activity log.
1. Yet another new addition to the "beta" map that at one point ran very fast and smooth. It is now just a hair better than FSH and the old map. It runs CPU hot and takes too much time to even move a square. There should be options to remove the activity log from preferences as well as get rid of the active finding of new log/guild log/news/etc notifications. That is when the slowdown started.
2. It shows the world who is hunting, making you easy prey for anyone looking for a gold target. Why is this different from anyone just doing a player search? Because people don't usually look at ALL level ranges. Now if someone sees you hunting they can check your gold and even if they can't hit you they can find a buddy who can. We should be able to opt ourselves out of being shown on it.
3. Show something more useful if you are going to do it. If it had to stay I'd rather get rid of the page actively looking for notifications and simply just posting the notification/updates (be they guild log, guild groups, player log, etc) to the activity log, while still keeping the link up on the left for your browsing after you leave the map page.
Sorry for all the poll options, I just didn't want to allow numerous options so people could choose leave it AND change it. >.<

We've actually removed the activity log for now in the latest update - it was just something we were testing out
The idea of it will be to show when your guild members login and add guild chat to it as well

Those of us with slow connections are still going to want / need an opt out.

We'll make it an option in your preferences when we add it again

for guild activity it would be nice the option to have it on every page and not only on world page (mainly because if i stay too long on world page, my CPU reports me for harassment  )

Hoof, you made the world map smaller a few days ago. The map ran totally smooth and steady while it was in that size. Is this something you are considering to add? Maybe a random customizeable map size?
