some of the gold sinking ideas have been great,
5 buffs, 'costly stat name', one for each stat(defense, damage, hp etc) that activate if you have 1000 gold per buff on hand and give .02% per point more to a particular stat and consume 1000 gold per round of combat per buff would be great,
eg 1 ... you are buffed with 'costly damage' and 'costly armor' and have 100k gold on hand, it would drain 2000 gold from you every round of combat and give you 3.5% more damage and 3.5% more armor and you could do that for 50 rounds of combat.
eg 2 ... you are buffed with 'costly attack' , 'costly armor' and 'costly hp' and have 600k gold on hand, it would drain 3000 gold from you every round of combat and give you 3.5% more attack, 3.5% more armor and 3.5% more hp and you could do that for 200 rounds of combat.
