New buffs suggestion thread

Most responses in the original thread had a comment for each buff, so this thread will be for more targeted discussion. If there are buffs you like as is, you can either ignore them in this thread or list them.

My concerns
I think the buff ecosystem could be significantly damaged or even destroyed by allowing players to cast buffs above level 175. Between #1 Buff Enhancer and #13 Buff Master II, players could cast skills up to level 195 (Buff Enhancer would add 15 levels, Buff Master II would add 5 levels) if I did my math right.
Particular examples are:
1) Treasure Hunter and Merchant - this would bring the marketplace prices up quickly, and the players as a whole had seemed to reach a consensus that 220k gold per FSP was bad; higher level TH and Merch would push it back above 200k easy.
2) Unbreakable - UB 190 pots (and the UB 200 loyalty pot) will become mostly obsolete. I know only the pot plus Distil would get you to level 200, but since UB no longer works on crystal, there is little difference to players between UB 195 and UB 200.
3) Avert Gaze - this would become nearly 100% activation, which seems against the intent of the Hypnotize enhancement (why have it if it will never fire?)
One last thing about these, Cows: if you're going to allow players to cast up to level 195, at least make it level 200 (i.e. tweak the Buff Master II percentage to add 10 levels to buffs) so that buffs like SSI, Mighty Vigor, Vision, and Doubler gain some extra usefulness.
I am also against #37 Titan Slayer, because when new titans are introduced, they will just have higher stats to compensate for this buff. It would be better to not have this buff and leave titan stats the way they are.
zizzwyly's concerns
Found here: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=108909&start=135, these concerns are about what the new buffs would do to armor and HP setups in PvP. I don't have much experience in PvP at all so I'll keep this short and let the more experienced players chime in.
Basically, the new buffs involve ways to increase defense and armor the way Keen Edge increases attack and Smashing Hammer increases damage. We also have buffs that directly decrease attack (Flinch), defense (Dark Curse), and damage (Terrorize).
However, with all the ways there were and are to increase armor and HP, it will be nearly impossible to break armor/HP sets with the current buff setup. We would either need to eliminate #8 Armor Booster (the armor equivalent of Smashing Hammer), or introduce a new buff that directly reduces armor the way Dark Curse reduces defense.

Agreed it would also remove players having to think about what setups and buffs to use for titans .I am also against #37 Titan Slayer, because when new titans are introduced, they will just have higher stats to compensate for this buff. It would be better to not have this buff and leave titan stats the way they are.

armor booster, damage booster(aka SH), attack booster(ke) , defence booster:+0.05% per set - this way each stat is increased by the same % per set - which is fairer across the board, this of course ignores the bonuses given afterwards by NMV Barricade etc
then the direct decreasing buffs as follows:
dark curse:0.2%, flinch:0.2% (i think its unfair one can decrease opponents defense by double the amount the opponent can decrease that persons attack - so make them equal - perhaps lower them to 0.1% each)
terrorize:0.1% , armor decrease:0.1% (equal decrease to armor and damage)

I think stat increases/decreases should all be standardised to make them fairer as follows:
armor booster, damage booster(aka SH), attack booster(ke) , defence booster:+0.05% per set - this way each stat is increased by the same % per set - which is fairer across the board, this of course ignores the bonuses given afterwards by NMV Barricade etc
then the direct decreasing buffs as follows:
dark curse:0.2%, flinch:0.2% (i think its unfair one can decrease opponents defense by double the amount the opponent can decrease that persons attack - so make them equal - perhaps lower them to 0.1% each)
terrorize:0.1% , armor decrease:0.1% (equal decrease to armor and damage)
While I agree (to a degree) that there needs to be some uniformity with buffs, I dont see it happening. There is more to balance than just the amount by which a buff increases a stat

need help going after a titan almost 200 levels below you?
for me personally, this Titan buff would afford me the chance to go after bigger titans. The logic of not having to think about what to wear maybe true for you but is not for me unless I'm going against the weakest titans. Perhaps the higher level folks don't want us wee players competition.

Try 300+. That shezmu is a beast!
With a Distilled DC 225, his defense is reduced to 12.2k. I can ALMOST get enough Attack to hit that...AND be safe hitting with ~4.5k Defense (not counting Flinch)... 360 levels UNDER the Titan...

Well your better then me. Curious how many hits it would take you to kill it ?
10-13, only counting self buffs, and Coord Atk+SH.

So because I suck and you don't, we should not have this Titan buff. Got it. Thanks.
Its not that you suck. You've admitted that you dont exactly 'plan out' your setups. Titan Hunting is a bit like PvP when it comes to gear... you HAVE to plan to be effective.
Shezmu is Defense/Damage/HP, so look at Attack/Damage setups with a little bit of Defense. Also, I would like to think that the aim ISNT to 1-hit these things... because that would just be mind-blowing...from a character PoV

Umm. I do have setups for every high level titan 200+ Titan. I don't only for the ultra low levels. I have a spreadsheet and I calculate what buff and equipment I need for each Titan so I do plan indeed but my planning sucks as that is the best I could come up with. I wouldn't hunt titans if I have to 5+ hit them either. But that's just me.
Who said anything about 5+ Hitting? We're talking about a Titan I cant even touch until Im 600+
I dont hunt Titans at all... I dont have the computer OR the connection for it, but I DO help guildmates with their setups for GvG/PvP and hunting.
If I choose to ignore the NEED to 1-hit, I could do alot of things... Including hunting at 1k+ realms. Arterial Strike negating a portion of the 8-10 hits itd take to kill something >.>
/brag
Btw, I wouldnt consider using CA to 2-hit as 2-hitting. With the extra stam you use, you're practically 3-hitting

Ca=coordinated attack. And technically, if i were using counter attack, I would be 4 hitting since each swing = 2 stam. So no, I avoid counter attack on my setups as well
Ah. I understand CA= Counter Attack and CoA= Coord-Attack
I simply spell out Coord-Atk out to prevent confusion between the 2 though =/
I am curious where you got that I don't plan my titan setups. Can you find where I said that?

I guess I took this, and your reply to Jedi's post out of context a bit... I apologize
