Hi,
it seems skinning has been nerfed (or tweaked or whatever you want to call it).
I spent 2hrs in the fields this morning and came back with an inventory and two large backpacks with hides and skin, yesterday i could hardly fill up half my inventory in that time.
Am fairly sure that it is not (only) my lvl going up as the amount of animal skin that drops seems to be halved (this is a good thing as i used to end up with twice as many skins as i needed).
It took about 30 minutes to tan all the hides and i had to buy 50 animal skins.
It took about 20 minutes to use 2/3rds of my leather to go from leatherworking lvl 7.5 to lvl 9, at lvl 9 i cant do the leather working apprentice quests as she asks for pants that need ragged pelts. gained another half level by making belts. I used a potion for this.
Altogether 3 hours work to gain 2 levels in leather working.
Feels a lot better then before ![]()
It also seemed the Shigra dropped less gear today, hard to say as it could be a stroke of bad luck. If intended i think that would be good as it would give upgrading skinning the advantage of loot that other gathering professions dont have (never heard of a tree drop a rare copper axe when it was being chopped down ![]()
