For that whoops moment when you are a dozen or more levels into your character and you realize you just screwed up:

20 Eldevin Points - Lose all XP in your current level, ability to move 5 Attribute points and 1 Talent point.

40 Eldevin Points - Lose all XP in current level and previous level, ability to move 10 Attribute points and 2 Talent points.

80 Eldevin Points - Lose all XP in current level and previous 2 levels, ability to move 15 Attribute points and 3 Talent points.

Might be complicated to realize. There must be a "save" of the order you spent talents and attributes. If i got your idea correctly.

Nah, make it easy.  I was thinking you could take any 5 Attribute points and any 1 Talent as long as it was valid.  So, you can't take Attribute points you didn't add at any point.  And, you can't move a Talent to a deeper row if it violates requirements or prerequisites.

respec is totally usual for any mmorpg. usually a cashshop thing or a higher lvl quest around lvl 20-30

so time is not waisted and it´s fair.

good idea imho

I'd hate losing xp, because after all the quests for your lvl are done, you have to grind.  So basically I think everyone would just lvl up, and then use the respec thing to avoid xp loss.  Why not just have specific tokens that let you take back 1 talent and 6 attribute points (basically a lvl worth of points)?

Or, you could buy a reset from trainers, either for gold, or special rare token drops, or something of the sort.

I made a suggestion a while back, where we could maybe get rewarded a "single talent point reset" as rare quest rewards (added to some of the quests already in game), from time to time.

I think that would be something to help towards your idea Bryn  :)

Maybe the quest reward idea, could give 1 talent point reset and 6 attribute points reset... so equivalent of one level.

What about a free Respec when you hit lvl 50?  B)
If you really wanted to change your class, or perfect the one you are already playing. It would be a sweet reward for playing thru the content.
