Normally you have to examine the nests and when the two beetles appear, kill them for the nest to be destroyed, there is a bug (no pun intended) where it doesn't count as destroyed, this is going to be fixed in the next update. The problem is, when this quest is complete it unlocks other quests, so it really should be looked at sooner unless the update is imminent.
