I am lvl 5 in game ATM and i really like the game so far. I don't get it why people say it looks and feels like RS because to me it doesn't. RS the way it looks and plays feels like a kids game.

 

While i have a silver founder pack and i wrote to support to maybe upgrade to a gold one i am having second thoughts now.

 

All the time when i like a game i support the devs, i am not a free looter complaining about stuff but not giving back.

 

What i find now to be a little disturbing are the prices for the bags. A large backpack with 49 storage slots costs 1500 points. That translates into 15$ for only one bag.

 

I myself find that price extremely high plus all the crafting "weapons" take up a lot of space from the bags. Maybe they could be smaller? Or you could always have them equipped in in the character screen? Something a little similar to Guild Wars 2 but not consumable.

 

What do you guys think?

I have to disagree, you have to remember the game only just released and a economy has yet to emerge. In time players will be selling their Eldevin points for gold, and more EP items will be being traded in the game. So free players/someone like yourself would be able to access these bags through hours put into the game to amass gold.

Heya,

 

I think Mojawk has covered this in another thread today, but to recap we feel the game is playable without additional bag space, especially when you factor in the bank and account vault.

 

You can unlock slots and buy bags for gold too. Also as someone else mentioned in a different thread, the use of containers really helps bag space issues for crafters. Containers are alot cheaper than actual bags and allow you to consolidate resources into stacks.

 

We're listening to any feedback/ideas on this issue too though :)

Initially I had a problem with the bag space also but it can be managed.  Managing bag space becomes part of the game and I think there is enough to work with.  As has already been said, you have containers that stack also.  

 

Now, if they could fix the point and click to move..........

Do you guys know if there is a way to preview items in the store? I would like to get some vanity armor and maybe a pet but i cannot preview them to see exactly how they look.

Why not just put up a web page with images of the items on a toon? Easy, cheap, and serves it's purpose.  :)

Does the cost of the bag unlock the slot it goes in?

 

Do the crafting containers fit inside a pack or do they require their own bag slot unlocked?

 

I don't mind the $15 price of the bag, although I think it's a little steep. I do mind the gold cap that is seemingly only unlocked via subscription. Please consider unlocking that permanently in some other manner, say after 3 months subscribing, or $20 in EP purchase. That way it would curb farmers and free account abuse without hindering paying customers.

Purchasing a bag with points currently doesn't unlock the bag slot but the first few slots for both your character and your bank are a relatively low amount of in-game gold. We do also sell smaller bags purely for in game gold.

 

Baskets and sacks sit in your main inventory and allow more resources to be placed in a single slot.

 

Baskets give 5 stacks and sacks 10. So with Copper Ore for example you could store 50 to 100 units of ore in a single slot!

Very helpful thanks. I suggested in another thread that I think it would be helpful if there was a way that this could be made clearer in game. Thanks for answering.
