Ive developed a horrible disorder after many years of mmo gaming where I want to be every class and respec way too often

I enjoy playing healers the most, but i want to ask..

How are they at soloing later on? I dont know if grouping will be a good method to level to 50

second class question: Are there any classes that excel at soloing? Im curious if soloing dunegons / high end gear is possible later on.

Crafting Question:

Do recipes exist outside of the ones listed in the crafting Gui? I notice im gaining crafting tokens doing dailies but dont know where / how to spend them.

Thanks

Don't ask me, I don't know.

In all seriousness, I am 99% there are no secret recipes.

Healers can deal nice damage and they are extremley useful in groups.

No one can know for sure at the end-game now since they're adding more levels we never got to test in beta.

However here's some stats from the beta (remember things have changed):

- it took me around 3 minutes to kill a full prophet (level 30) while they stood still just healing themselves, doing nothing else.

- a prophet was necessary to efficiently complete all the high-level dungeons.

- the prophet could still be dealing over 1000 consistent damage (at lvl 30) with incinerate.

Healing power is the basis for your healing spells and Spell power (attack damage) is how much damage you'll deal.

So basically the Healing Power will effect all of your healing abilities and Spell power will effect all of your offensive abilities.

Hope that cleared some things up.

I'm not entirely sure, I believe healing power is amassed through the attribute sorcery and talents.

Ranger seems to be the best at soloing early on and perhaps later on from my experience in beta.

Pointing points into the "sorcery" attribute  raises "healing power".

I maxed a ranger and a mage/prophet (switching specs) in beta:

The ranger is easy early on.  Later the mage becomes much more soloable with the self healing.  The mage almost never died when I was paying attention (it took Crimson HQ solo to do it and even then I only died twice).  The prophet is even more resilient, but slower play then the mage.

I didn't get as far leveling melee, but from what I did see and play the warrior is excellent.  Assassin is more difficult at the start, but can be amazing once you get the higher level talents.  Leveling as a templar is very slow, unless you run instances where you'll be very much in demand.

BTW, never saw or heard of a secret recipe during beta.  But it's a cool idea.

Meleager, ranger

Tuor, templar (Inactive)

Deimos, mage

Thangbrand, warsin (Mostly on vacation)

Bart, ??? (bene trades)

I am currently all in sorcery and Mage talents, I am however only level 9 so not sure what to expect further down the road but I am content so far. I am pondering whether I should dabble in the prophet for some healing, i think it will be pretty interesting to have some fire power as well as good healing. Time will tell :)
