Wanted some of you guys to share your input on what you are currently doing regarding exp. I was questing from the start but once I hit 10 I just didn't like the huge amounts of traveling to get little exp. I find it a bit easier to constantly let some arrows fly and get a constant stream of exp. So what are you guys doing to rake up that exp?

Also feel free to add any good spots for grind.

I'm doing a little bit of everything, just taking my time.

I raced through the quests until level ten as well, at which point Kaendor (level nine at the time) and I slaughtered the Northam Pigs until we both leveled up.

Understand that we still had quests we could have done, we just liked mindlessly grinding for a bit.

We still grind whenever the mood strikes us and we have a not too large amount of experience until the next level, but I haven't run out of quests yet (still only level 14, though).

Do my dailies. Not neccisarily the fastest way to level and then after that grind and sometimes do instances and quests.

Between, questing and Instance runs you will level at a good phase. Try running boondocks after lvl 10 with a group, levels go quickly if you do.

Yes, there are many quests that require lots of running around, but in many cases they lead to follow-on quests.  I take a break every once in awhile to level up in gathering/crafting...

Bryn -  Prophet - lvl 45

Ullr -   Ranger -   lvl 32

Thud - Warrior - lvl 16

Payn -  Templar - lvl 16

Jinx -  Mage -      lvl 10

Grind monsters same level as you or 1 level below. Always take their Hp into account.

I get the most EXP when I am exactly 1 level below monster.

So if I'm level 17, I get most exp from level 18 monsters.

Questing and Dailies.

I've been working on Prospecting(level 15) and Armorsmith a lot(almost level 9) so I get my grind on when doing that.

So it's nice to take a break away from the crafting/gathering grind and follow some quests/dailies.

[EDIT]

** It doesn't show on here but I'm level 10 close to 11.

True but it'll take a toll on the durability of your gear and the repair cost by the time your done especially if they have higher HP. I prefer killing those below my level and have lower defence, your level 17 right so like if your fighting plague loafs for example, they are 1 lvl above you and hav e higher Hp and higher accuracy( seem 2 be a trait amongst plague monsters), you'll loose your gear durability faster. It probobly wont affect you that much if you have the money for repairs.

grind in instances with XP pot + do quests when people are not around to do instances with. Seems the best way to go.

I mix it up, a little grinding is unavoidable. Althought Lvl 2 of the sewers is a nice spot between 9-11 if you pick the right spot you can hit slugs and pests easily.

Edit: 12-15 the Moss Golems are not bad but take a little killing.
