The changes to crafting were meant to improve the experience not make it worse, it was scheduled for Tuesday next week, I am investigating please bare with me.
So we got a bug report about a movement exploit this morning that we fixed and as such the changes got pushed live before they were tested, this is my fault ![]()
I think probably we will do a build tomorrow once I've had a chance to look at the numbers properly, what I wanted was it to be more worthwhile to craft the higher end gear, not reduce xp what was currently being crafted.

in the patch notes people aren't reading. for all going nuts in the world chat just take a few seconds and read the section above.
it wasn't intentional,and when all this is fixed and done it will actually be more rewarding getting better exp for making higher lvled items in the same tier.
(instead of copper belt(lvl1) being the same exp as copper boots(lvl2) i think what is meant is that the boots will now give better exp then the belt. and so on. HCS member can correct me if i'm wrong on that.)
