Hi Everyone,

I'm not sure if this has been suggested or not, but is there any way to look into crafting different versions of armor/weapons? I'm not saying it has to be often, but crafting a +1 or +2 version with semi-better stats for equipment would be a great feature to have.

It would slightly increase the want of certain items (could you imagine a +1 set helm or +2 weapon for more damage?) to be able to sell, even though I don't think there is a lack of money in this game.

Please - any suggestions or opinions are welcome.

Regards,

Kedyn/Kittles

It wouldn't really matter if the majority of gear has no sockets for gems. After 15, no one will wear anything without a gem socket. They would have to add both, but it's a good idea.

Maybe every crafting professions who makes armor types could get their own socketeer recipe, where you would have a max limit of 2 sockets, so if the existing item got 2 sockets then none would be added, if it got one then you could add one socket, and requirement of adding the socket, would be 1 item of the same rarity and level range as the item you want to add the socket to, so a lvl 25 rare item would need an rare lvl 25 item to sacrifice, with no need for the sacrificial item to have an already existing socket, and it wouldnt matter if the item was a dropped loot or crafted, atleast not maybe below legendary quality, maybe it would also require require both Pure (and Dense ore to add a socket on the green quality, and 1 lesser elemental flake for the blue one, and 3 pieces for legendary equipments?, also you could unlock the ability to socket green items at crafting lvl 15, at lvl 30 rare sockets, and at lvl 45 for legendary sockets, the reward for getting your profession to lvl 50 could be the ability to add the second sockets to the items, just some ideas/suggestions:)

PS! Could make same rules for Weapon and Jewel crafting profession:)
