The last 10 years mmorpg.com has been my best source for finding new mmorpg's to check out. The site has 2,5 million members so im definitely not the only one who use this site as a source to find new mmo's.

A game need 20 votes to have its rating visible to the public. 75% of the games on the site has not received 20 votes, and are therefore often ignored by players hunting their next game.

Currently Eldevin has received 10 votes, and with 10 more we can become visible and maybe claim one of the spots on the upper half of the list to be more visible.

More players = more cash to spend on developement = more content & a bigger community.

Click gamelist to find the list of all games, and search for Eldevin. By clicking review on the game page you can cast your review and rating.

I do think you need to have a certain level of activity on mmorpg.com to cast your review, so new members might not be able to help out for now, but for those who are members. Cast your review :)

How about getting this game on steam

Hehe, that takes a bit more effort. Steam picks the games, it aint the games that picks Steam. And its a browser game, so not much for Steam to host.

but ofcourse it would have been really nice to see a client on Steam one day in the future  :)

My vote, review or whatever was cast a while ago. It doesn't take long people. :)

I suggest just clicking the link in Loaf's signature.

It should be noted that those without an account on that website must rank up after creating an account in order to rate games. So this will only work immediately for those who have an account through this site in the first place and have achieved the required 5/100 rank points.

Correct, as I stated in the last sentence:

I do think you need to have a certain level of activity on mmorpg.com to cast your review, so new members might not be able to help out for now.

-Think you need a few logins and a couple of forum posts over a few days to gain rank.

Yeah I am building on your post so those who may not have an account are able to know what they need to accomplish in order to rate, if they would like to help the game along. And yes you are correct, repeated logins and forum posts will rank you up and it is fairly quick. But the forum posts need to be detailed and worthwhile. Posting drivel will result in a loss of rank points.

I will go vote now, and also steam would be nice if possible. It works very well with these types of games.

Still need more votes before the rating is shown.  Something to do while the servers are down for maintenance!

actualy the developers submit the game then steam creats a thead and players/comunity vote on the game wether to get it greenlit or not. if enough people support the idea then its greenlit and hosted on steam.

another good site to consider is BBGsite.com there is already a page there but it needs updates http://gamelist.bbgs...o/eldevin.shtml  its still listing as in closed beta. there are no true in game screenshots and such.... some information on there and some screenshots and a vid or 2 might do wonders.

no longer playing so feel free to ignore more (if i even post) just do still follow forums so MAY comment from time to time.

Not to be greedy, but they could offer a vote for an ingame loyalty reward or something, i've seen plenty of MMO's use this sort of scheme.

Currently I would be very wary with doing any sort of big post/review type promotion until they've implemented the WSAD and camera. If you watch the Massivley stream Mojawk himself said a lot of there feedback on first impressions was due to the lack of both things i've mentioned people didn't even want to play. This is a big reason as to why HCS havn't gone on a big campaign themselves and they have stated in numerous other posts that once these systems are in place they'll start picking it up with cross game promotion and other such avenues.

Word of mouth to people you know or communities you interact with would be the best thing you can do currently and just tell people straight up what to expect so they're under no illusion.
