I have a wonderful idea that i believe many players will love to have in the game. Here is a few ideas I had for the game which would better our game play or so.

I propose we add another option in the game sort of along the lines where HCS gives us a renew skill points every year or so. I think we should be given once a year or once every 6 months a upgrades points and with this point you can let build up or use. Letting them stack up would just save them until you need them of course, but using them lets you to buy back a upgrade. For example i have 194 BackPack slots i have bought with my FallenSword Points, and lets say i only use 100 of those BackPack Slots and i wish Ididn't have so many bp slots and wish i had my fsp back for atleast 40 of those bp slots, so i propose the upgrade points(name still under consideration) which lets say i can use this point im given(once every six months/a year depends on the vote) and i go to a seperate option under upgrades section i can find the upgrade i wish to undo so i can find BackPack slots and place a number in there like 40 and then by clicking accept it uses the 1 point i have and takes away 40 bp slots and give me back 80% of the fsp i put into it, or the full 100% percent depending on what people think.

Please leave responses and vote and ingame message me or message me on the forums if you have any questions.

Sounds Brilliant. I can imagine this would indeed help out those players, such as yourself.

Would like to see something like this go into effect.

Yeah rekluse i believe 80% back or 70% back would be fair so if you regret buying you can atleast get something back also adds help to new members knowing the game they want to see what upgrades can do and if they regret they can just go boom with the point they have and atleast got something back

Well I personally added 55 fsp into my allies list, and 50 into my component slots, when I was creating items for quests, and I don't really invent anymore, so I have no need for as many component slots as I do.

Great idea.

Or, you could possibly buy a reset for an upgrade, maybe 10 or so fsp to reset depending on how upgraded it is.

The reason you've gotten skill point resets is because the cows introduced new skills so they are giving everyone a chance to re-allocate their skill points based on the availability of new buffs.  This is not a gift, it's just an adjustment.  While I understand why you want more free resets, it's not going to happen.  Frankly, it would be bad for business since players could continually reset things instead of pumping new money into the game.  Sorry you've changed your play style but the consequences of doing so means you have excess points where you don't want them.  Maybe you'll want them there again in the future.  We've all made mistakes and changes but it's part of living and learning.

i like this idea but as Rekluse said i think you should have to pay 10-15 fsp but also do the same thing in gold for those that dont want to use fsp to get fsp back ???

I understand where your going yote, but dont you think new members could be given the chance to explore the possibilities on fallensword, also with fsp i have had over 6k fsp at hand and thats why i made another guild because there is nothing else to spend the fsp on.

But you aren't a new player.  If you are going to give out a free reset of anything for new players, it should expire at level 50.  By that time the new player will have been in the game long enough to get a little experience and get some advice from more experienced players about point allocations.  Anything after that will cut into the bottom line of the cows and that's not good for anyone.  As for all your excess fsp's laying around with nothing to do, I'd like to introduce you to the YIF.  The YIF is a worthy cause and always in need of fsp's.  BTW, the YIF is the Yotekiller Improvement Fund.  (JK....mostly.....lol)

I would like to disagree on the "By that tiem a new player will have been in the game long enough to get a little experience."

As I reached level 69 my first day, due to the player "rebornjedi" Sending me a promo code to put into my account, which gave me 10k current stamina and 5k reserve.

OK, not everyone is that fortunate.  I still don't agree with free resets and I don't think the cows will either but I've been surprised before.  IF a free reset were given there should be an expiration so where would you suggest that be?  By level or perhaps by X days after joining?  Also, another reason I don't think it will fly is because the cows would have to give a free reset to all current players and they have been very resistant to that in the past.  I guess it never hurts to ask but don't get your hopes up too high.

You can make it an upgrade 1000 for full reset of everything and 100 for indivudual reset...in a sense this would be a FSP sink. This might also help kick start the economy again. And maybe you should get one free total reset.

Games don't give you back your investment in character upgrades and that's because they're a business with staff to pay, operating expenses, etc, etc.

Comparative example: you can't buy a Big Mac, take it with you for a while and then go back and ask for a Filet O'Fish instead. :)

For truly new players - most are dumping a lot of FSP into upgrades and hopefully they are getting with a guild/friends who are experienced and that they're asking questions and accepting advice.  Most don't spend a lot on character upgrades.  They may make mistakes in allocating their skills and attributes, but generally not anything that becomes a mute point over time.

Why so much??? It starts at 150 fsp for a full reset.. And each time it gets higher... Skills full reset is 100 fsp and 15 fsp per individual skill... What you are saying makes no sense to me at all... But I could be wrong and not be understanding what you are thinking....

I was going to be mildly sarcastic and emphatic in explaining why this would be bad for players, but I think I might as well point out the obvious.

I really don't see how this would be a FSP "sink." The potential flood of on hand FSP would kill the bulk of donations to FS for months after it's first implementation. Given priority #1 1a, 1b, 1c should be getting more/new/returning players to FS, I don't see where putting time and resources into this brings tangible benefit to the growth and improvement of the game whatsoever.

I wasn't looking at it from a business point of view...i was looking at it at my point of view which would be beneficial for myself and my AH/inventing :).
