Yeah it won't happen, the cows are way too busy for something like this. To have a chance at going through it would probably need like a 90/10 ratio and 100+ votes..
Still it's not the turnout I expected.

From a personal standpoint, I am mostly indifferent to this idea, as my preference as a player is to store as few non-essential items as possible and give away and/or sell all excess clutter.
However, I could see this idea being a useful alternative to the age-old MMO tradition of using mule characters to store items. It's far more convenient to have all your items in one place, and I don't see a problem with having this stacking feature available.
The one thing that would concern me is the amount of extra coding work required to implement a multi-stacking feature into the game. I'm by no means an expert, but I know that coding extra storage features in previous, similar MMO games was often complicated by the game's programming limitations. If this ended up being a very difficult suggestion to implement, it may not necessarily be worth the convenience of its implementation.
That said, it's a nice idea!

You haven't opened packs, you're level 18. Presumably lowish professions?
Play the game some more and this suggestion may be more meaningful to you, this is encouraging more-so for free2play players, as I said I could careless if it is added since I can manage my space, but I do have to gift items away when I unbox due to the ridiculous vanity space there is.
I have opened Packs and Do Not ASSUME... Now just how is this Free2Play or do you even have a Clue what Free2Play is?? looks like you don't. F2P is playing and not spending any money at all to Play.. What you are talking about is hardly that.. I am not a pack rat and I know what I am talking about... I have been playing online game a lot of years. The Idea Stinks of a player wanting to save stuff make a big profit off some later on in the game... No matter how you try to make it look.... Now I can care less what you think.... As for Low professions again Do Not ASSUME...

I bet they could use a lot of coding that is behind sack for example. Don't know if it would be such a big addition.
Leaving sack model out, making every slot in bank to be treated as "invisible" sacks. ;P
Back to the topic:
Those who voted no: You are kicking on your own balls, unless you are buyer and want to keep your "power". Here is what I recommend you to try out: Make new character, do not buy anything from shop, pick up every crafting (as I would) and laugh miserably because you gotta sell your materials away once in a while to make space for another crafting profession or do meaningless trips to spend few of them that is in your bag or bank.(WHAT A WASTE OF TIME!)
Holding onto few quest items, items that you can't wear yet or plan to sell/give away, profession tools, scrolls, pots, food, drinks, crafting materials and other misc items. You can't hold anything in reserve, you've gotta kill your inventory otherwise it gets full! I'd be full right now if it weren't for my 15 sacks and 2 bags that I possess OR I would be doing highly inefficient gaming that would not be satisfying. I'm just 12 level and started around 5 to 6 days ago, what about later, hah?
I'd reconsider this suggestion, those values in examples aren't ultimate, they are just bases that can be modified to any direction.

You said you were not a "pack rat" if you're going to use statements that have no global meaning I suggest explaining yourself or we do make assumptions.. It's obvious to me now you mean you don't open them excessively.
Again, what you're saying here doesn't make sense. This system would be fully free2play with extra features for those who wish to pay, there are advantages for both paying and free users.
I'm pretty sure allot of us have all been playing games for many years, don't use your age as if it's a credential, we all have knowledge of this recreational activity.
I think you need to use your "wisdom" to think about the positive impact this would have on the community and newer players, rather than basing your opinions on who will be richer than you due to market knowledge.
Well I can only make the assumption since there's no where to see where your professions are, you can easily prove me wrong with a few screenshots. ![]()

1) I don't need to prove any thing to you or any one else here....
2) A pack rat is some one the holds on to a lot of stuff....
3) Your Idea is a bout as Stupid as I have seen....
4) No way that this would help any one that is truly F2P...
5) Keep being deluded that you know more then I do about any thing...

Please, you do this on every thread. You are just being stubborn thinking you are better than everyone else and your opinion is valued above everyone elses.
It's quite obvious you haven't put many hours into Eldevin (as of now) so I was simply saying if you play some more you may find that suggestions (not just mine that you've commented on) may be better for the game than you think.
Now onto your points:
1. I never said you needed to prove anything, if you're upset that I'm making assumptions you can prove me wrong if you want though. It's quite simple really.
2. Thank you for clearing that up, maybe open with the definition before you post something that's unknown as a global term.
3. I'm glad you posted such a stupid comment, just goes to show that your opinion really should not be respected.
4. Please clarify how this won't help players who are F2P? If you're going to make a remark like this at-least go into some detail.
5. Share your wisdom oh all-knowing Shylark47. None of us come close to your amazing omniscience of everything.
6. I'm pretty sure candy stores don't coat things for you, some McDonalds will deep-fry a mars bar for you though.

No I'm trying to have a normal debate, establishing why you or others don't like the idea. You turned it out like this with your cocky attitude.
Like I said this idea was to benefit free2play players moreso than myself. I wasn't expecting this to go through anyway because let's face it HCS are way too busy for something like this. I was simply astonished that very few liked it since so many players complain about space.
I'm full of myself? Sure I'll go along with this, let's say I'm full of myself. This must be why you need to resort to phrases such as "butt hurt" because you know you can't explain yourself and why my idea is right even after I gave you a clear chance to do so.
Also a sentence doesn't end with "..." you only need one. ![]()

Seems like this topic is turning into a bit of a flame war but I would like to clarify why I voted no. I am not against the idea of more bank space. I just think that having items stack differently in bank than they do in inventory would complicate things too much, especially for the programmers. I think that a better option may be to just make bank have more spaces. After all, a bank should have a lot more space than your backpack. ![]()

I'm all for this. Even 10x stacks in the bank will benefit players at the low levels that gather mats to make gold early in the game. Yes, these benefits would extend to those of us that like the trading side of the game, but why should that be a bad thing? Prices come down as supply increases beyond demand, so in long run how much profit are we really getting from the extra space?

F2P games have to make money somehow to fund development, testing, marketing (saleries/benefits), contracted costs for virtual server support, legal/hr/accounting and all the other corporate costs. Selling inventory space, XP boosters, and vanity items is a very "clean" way to go.

I see nothing bad on allowing bank to stack a bit more space, in single digits for non-stackable (x2-x5), (x20-x50 for stackable), alas with bank it needs to cost something... having chests in your housing though for additional storage should be much easier to get.

What i want to add to this idea - What about removing the Backpack Slots in the Bank and instead make it x10 and as you said - upgradeable ...
So the Bank-Upgrades would basically be the EP you pay in BP, but in Bank upgrades.

Hell with EP and Shop buyer support. F2P demands some love. Use gold if this goes through. ![]()

are you f2p lover even reading the suggestions? this suggestion would support your f2p model more than the actual does ...
because you have a bank with 10x slots like a full bank with sacks. Dont need any EP for this, just for the Upgrade, like you do right now if you want to have backpacks (except the small ones for high amount of gold)...
So basically you would profit right now with the suggestion a lot even as f2p player

If you read my earlier comments you would understand my point of view better. I simply don't like the current balance between F2P and P2W. I have bought things from Shop, so that does make me buyer to some degree. I'm fine with your suggestion until you mention that you would need EP for the upgrade.
Using gold more would be much better, as I would personally like to see EP be non-tradeable currency. Gold should be above EP, not the otherway around, because that benefits buyers more.
Upgrading bank slot system in any possible way, but not ending up benefitting buyers is my favorite option. There is plenty of stuff for buyers already. Buyers need to be brought down closer to non-buyer atm.

I voted yes to this topic, but I think the multiplier may be a little too high. I think allowing a 10x multiplier to start with the ability to upgrade 5 times to a 50x multiplier might be great. I don't think this multiplier should apply to sacks in storage though, as it might seem to get a little out of hand in the amount of items one could hold in the bank (5,000 items of a 10 stack seems a little high or 12,500 items in a 25 item stack).
