what you should be doing in an update instead of all this “balance”.  Currently you have most if not all of the max level players leaving within a week or two or obtaining level 40.  This is because there is nothing for high level players to do/work tords in endgame.  You need to focus on adding things such as player housing which you use crafting/rare mob drops to decorate, or you can have guild housing if you don’t want each player to have their individual house,  and you can  work on actually implementing a guild system into the game.  How long has it been since you said “guilds are one of our highest priorities” and now we get this nerf to everything except for tank and mage.  How about you focus on keeping players around instead of so called “balance” that is just your way of nerfing players to make it harder for them to complete the end game content.  This is not a way to keep players if you make it to hard they just give up and leave without finishing anyways making them leave sooner.

Balances prioritize above other things (in most games anyway). There was so many things unbalanced that it needed tending too.

I agree we have nothing to do, but we will have the world boss Monday and once 45/50 content starts rolling out we will start seeing the end-game.

No disrespect to HCS but think of the current stage the game is in as "open beta". This is not the intended finished product.

Thats what you get for racing to lvl 40 in a week lol.  Not interesed in lvl 40 all craft/gath?  This is not uncommon in most games for players who just no life to the end.  I hope 40-45 takes ages and ages , helps you guys out keeping you busy, but makes leveling up feel like a massive achievemant.

Balance fixes are actually somewhat easy to make coding-wise, as you will just end up changing few values in most cases. Which is why you shouldn't think that all they have been working on is those balance fixes, as they don't even take that much time. Probably some other member of the group thinks of these balance changes while taking note of feedback and then coders do them, easily.

What takes time is: New features, like guild system, as they might not even have any code ready for them and you may also have to implement new stuff into the core for them to work, while also making sure other parts of the code won't be broken after that. We all know the "dilemma" where after change, something else is broken and big changes attract those the most, which is why you need to be careful whenever implementing big stuff. (Requires testing/debugging) before going to live.

So, my point is: Do not blame the balance changes. Lol ;P

ps.

In case I said something wrong, you may correct me here.

So you are saying that making the game easier people will stay???? Not in any game I ever played...This game is not even close to being hard at All... Most the ones that have left just want a Easy Button game... I enjoy the way this game is and most that are playing it I think also do... But it is hard to judge really as only about 25 of us post regularly here on the forums... I know of 2 personally that have never commented here.....

Look at Fallen Sword they have been adding to that game about 6 years now... Though the player base has dropped a lot in that time... They are still adding more content..... I wouldn't say Eldevin is open Beta at all.... It if like FS will be a on going project.. And that is a Good thing to me....

What I meant was that the game is not at the intended stage that we all thought it would be at, I didn't know what to use other than "open beta".

My main interest in MMORPGs is PVP and End-game content. The stuff in-between doesn't bother me that much, hence why powerleveld to 40.

I maxed 3 professions to 40, and they have no use. I have little interest in spending my time on something that has no reward. So I will wait until HCS add more content and they become more useful to max them.

Ahh okay no worries.. I agree I thought the max levels would go a bit higher... Just I play most games slower then some.. So at a lower level then some.... I still have some  instances I have not done...

Nezmeth, the team will not prioritize level 40/max players because the majority of users that play the game and spend real

world dollars don't have 10 hours every day to level their character and reach 40. They are also going to be catering to the

new loads of freshly signed up users that will be coming in and the game gets noticed and hopefully is advertised heavily.

I think they should add guilds etc, but frankly I doubt they have the team or resources atm to do it. First off, the combat XP

is way too fast for a real mmorpg. the combat feels like an arcadish xp rate. Some users reported they could gain 600,000

XP in the AOE? Are you kidding me? That needs to fixed right away as well as the other areas of too high xp gain. Now I

realize over item a good amount of players will hit lvl 40 and I'm sure then 6-12 months from now they will start rolling out

some of the stuff requested. All in all, be patient with it, they can't fix everybody's needs at once. Remember they are a

business and are in it to make money. Another thing they should realllllly think about is adding a WILD PVP area. Yes it

originated from the MMORPG Runescape but it really added a lot of dimensions to that game and kept a lot of players

entertained for years. Eldevin is an awesome game that is only going to get better :)

There is an open world pvp area called "trappers atoll". Sadly hardly anyone ventures in there because the only thing to do there is collect resources, but the said resources are level 48.

Other than a few daily quests and a high HP boss that roams around (and drops nothing). That's all there is to it.

Not sure if you intended for your post to be split up like that, but it was painful for my eyes (no disrespect).

I went there earlier.... I wonder just why it needs level 15 to go when nothing can be done???? Rather a badly planned place..
