How do groups work? I understand that a xp boost is there for the more members you have, but the group level isn't going up any high than lvl 3 with 240 xp for my groups.

when you group with another player you get shared experience but to compensate that there is also an experience boost. then you have group level that also increases your experience. you gain group level experience by killing monsters while the group members are in range. group level caps at lvl 5
no longer playing so feel free to ignore more (if i even post) just do still follow forums so MAY comment from time to time.

When is it beneficial to group up with someone? When is it bad for your xp gain to be grouped up? If I went grinding my level creatures with someone slightly lower level (helping out/staying in range), how does that affect my xp gain? And if the other player was out of range, how does that affect our xp gain?

Its group increased EXP, So grouping and playing together will get you more exp if you are not together fighting creatures you will not receive the extra exp, as the group lvl goes up it stacks increasing the exp gained the more people in your group the more additional max exp% you gain.... i think i said that right? lol basically group exp only will work best when everyone is within the same lvl ranged killing together while questing.

Q #1)When is it beneficial to group up with someone?
A = it is beneficial to group up with someone while running the dungeons, than u can use that exp gain % at ur advantage and quest kill things together, brining friends into the game and Group with them increasing you're exp while grouped up , it is only beneficial when you are actually grouped up fighting together. Ask low lvls in world chat in game if they wanna group and fight together.
Q #2)When is it bad for your xp gain to be grouped up?
A = When you are to far away not gaining the increased exp fromt he group bonus , or if you or anyone else is to many higher lvls or lower? You wont get the maximum affected exp you would if you were to solo it or kill with someone you're level.
Q #3)If I went grinding my level creatures with someone slightly lower level (helping out/staying in range), how does that affect my xp gain? And if the other player was out of range, how does that affect our xp gain?
A = That first part of you're question is called Power boosting lol, if you wanna sit there and kill the same creatures over and over again go for it you will gain more exp cause they are you're lvl the lower lvl will gain some exp but not to much, but i believe that u do gain some extra exp if the creature is higher lvl than you but idk if that counts for group exp? rather than it would for solo exp. But with the group increased exp you both can gain a little more exp cause of the group exp % plus the stacks and lvl of group max is 5, the lower lvl may gain more i don't really, just trying to give a little help with what i think i may know... Also Best thing to do is try it out and test it. If you are out of range from group member the group level will still get exp but you both will not gain the extra exp % as if you were right next to each other.
*Group exp bonus's around same levels, Max its level and have full party to gain full benefits all try to be on the same quest lines and fighting the same things and than find more things to fight while doing you're quests you will gain and maximize you're exp as a group as long as you all stay together and your group lvl is 5 + full party of 5 players... hoped this helped even a little
i am still learning the game myself as well ![]()
