For anyone who is not getting any frag chest drops from the Elemental Wraiths, try this solution which worked for me:

Preferences  -->  Gameplay  -->  Auto Discard Level.  Ensure that that white box on the right is completely blank, and Save Settings.

My auto discard had originally been set with the number 0 (zero) which is why I wasn't getting any drops initially.

Looking at the progression so far, it looks like another 3 or 4 tiers are gonna need adding LOL

Already almost 900K over the 2.5 million target - which is GREAT to see.

Personally, I think the number of frags in each chest is WAY too generous tho. I know this is a "baseline" event to try and determine the variables, but I think starting low and tweaking up if necessary is a much better scenario than starting high and then having to lower the numbers. The former is met with appreciation and the latter with protestation.

1500 Common / 1200 Rare for Bronze

1800 Common / 1500 Rare / 1200 Unique for Silver

2100 Common / 1800 Rare / 1500 Unique / 600 Legendary for Gold

2400 Common / 2100 Rare / 1800 Unique / 700 Legendary / 600 Crystalline for Crystal

2700 Common / 2400 Rare / 2100 Unique / 800 Legendary / 700 Crystalline / 600 Super Elite for Ruby

So, for those who do just 3500 kills (5k stam at MOST), they will earn 8.1K Common, 7.2 K Rare, 6.3 K Unique, 2.4k LE, 2.1K Crystalline and 1.8k SE frags (plus what they got from the dropped containers).

For those in the top 100, that becomes - 10.8 K Common, 9.6 K Rare, 8.4 K Unique, 3.2 K LE, 2.8 K Crystalline and 2.4 K SE

I think that may well kill (in the short to medium term) any market low level players had for selling their drops to higher level players :(

Don't get me wrong, I love the fact that there's a fragment event - but please lower the numbers and help to "protect" the lower level players who use frag-farming as an income stream.

Guildie just suggested this (thanks Woopy)

Maybe have a special travelling salesman who can offer, as a ONE OFF (and bound), the option of buying something like an AL / LIB / CON / AM / LF 400 (or 500) potion for thousands of each fragment ?

That would reduce the glut of fragments much more quickly and thus help reinstate the market for lower level players to sell their drops for fragmenting.

Sometimes you just don't know what will happen.  We didn't make ruby for the last GE but we blew this one out of the water.  It was an experiment to see what would happen and I think the cows wanted to make sure the best reward was at least attainable.  I think we have shown enough interest in this event to guarantee kill numbers won't be anywhere near this low in the future.

It's not just kill numbers - it's the sheer volume of frags / chest. They're truly insane numbers ... even putting the kill count back up to the level of the last GE (5k minimum for top tier) won't alter things that much ...

The volume of participation seems to be affected by the Ruby Tier threshold being quite low for this event and the reality that there's benefit for killing more than the bare minimum.  I know a lot of good players who can not see the logic in killing more in regular Global events, while I don't agree with their view, I do understand their perspective.

Fragment chests should be something like:

500 Common / 300 Rare for Bronze

800 Common / 500 Rare / 300 Unique for Silver

1100 Common / 800 Rare / 500 Unique / 300 Legendary for Gold

1400 Common / 1100 Rare / 800 Unique / 350 Legendary / 300 Crystalline for Crystal

1700 Common / 1400 Rare / 1100 Unique / 400 Legendary / 350 Crystalline / 300 Super Elite for Ruby

And to me, it's still too much

Other than chests way too generous, the event is awesome. Good job cows

Is there an easy way of opening the wraith frag stash than clicking on each one by one?

Its faster if you click each one before the page fully reloads and it will open all of those, but that is the fastest and easiest way I could find.

Awesome Event... Maybe Next Time Instead Of Having The Wraiths Drop Chests That Contain Only Common Frags I Think It Would Be Cool To See Other Kinds Of Frags In The Chest Drops From The Wraiths Like Unique, LE, SE And So On... I Mean Don't Get Me Wrong Its Awesome That The Wraiths Drop Anything At All + We Get A Nice Reward At The End Of The Event... But Common Frags Are The Easiest To Come By... I Know They Are By Far The Most Used Frags But I Think Seeing Some Small Amounts Of The Other Frag Types In The Wraith Chests Would Be Cool!!!

AWESOME EVENT COWS!!! NICE WORK!!!

Please don't listen to this suggestion :)

We need more commons. Leave it be! Great event. I'm aiming for top 100!

Just so you know, I go through about 1.5k common fragments per day... so 10k would last me like a week before I run out...

the 10k is good because it will get people started and addicted to composing (thus increasing the value for farmers after the 10k run out in a few weeks)

Making only the cheapest 20xp potions it will take 180kfragments to reach level 50 (from 0 xp).  Since I am making the slightly more expensive 30 xp points, it will take me 400k fragments to reach level 50 ((from 0 xp)  Since I made the cheap 20xp frag potions till about level 23, there is a blended nubmer around 350k fragments I will have used to get to level 50.

in comparison the 10k fragments does not get you very far (yay exponential growth).  If you currently have 0 XP, and make 54/54 potions only that will get you to about level 13 which should take about a month.  Enough time and levels to get you addicted to composing :)  Oh yea, it will also cost you just over 9 million in gold to make those potions.

Good figures, common is a good amount to receive :)

On the other hand i think the other frag types should be closer to this and i also agree this is may be too much, i make oodles of high level pots for guildies and the rare, unique and LE frags will last around a month, the crystal and SE frags are way extreme with like bry said no real way to use them up, no maths done but they could last 4 months or more AND that is for someone like me who is making oodles for guildies :)

I can give you that - I currently have 2.2k extracted SE frags, but there are not a lot of uses for them.  LF 410 and Doubler 775 are the only two that use it.  However LF 410 is useful, whereas doubler 775 is still less then the 1200 you can get in loyalty.  But it is more then the 750 cave potion.

I am not too worried that SE frags go down in value though... they are already pretty cheap in the ah - you can get 1 se frag for 10k gold pretty easy.

Yup, click, click, click.  I can get at least tour chests open this way.  I was just going to mention this, but Gomez beat me to it :)

Go to line 4767 of the FSH script, and comment it out by placing a // in front of it.  It will remove the "resource only" filter that is applied to the quick extract script

Helper.inventory.items = Helper.inventory.items.filter(function(e) {return e.type==12;});//type=plants

becomes

//Helper.inventory.items = Helper.inventory.items.filter(function(e) {return e.type==12;});//type=plants

Then visit the following URL:

http://www.fallenswo...md=quickextract

And you will be good to mass extract.

When is the event planned that is designed to get more people trying PvP?

Indeed! When do we see a Global event entice players to PvP? See the devs know how to do it. But will they?

I'd probably say never - because an event like that wouldn't appeal to everyone.

For non-pvp'rs to give it a try, it would have to be pretty harmless to their xp - i.e. a pillow fight and pvp'rs have said this is an anathema to them.

So, where's the compromise that keeps BOTH sides happy ? - feel free to discuss :)
