This is kinda a pre-emptive suggestion, I have not made this mistake yet but I can see it happening, because I am a tit.

 

Would kinda suck to NPC a weapon with a perfect gem in the future right? I think a confirm pop up would be good, something like... "Some of these items have Gems embedded, do you want to proceed?"

I like this idea. Just don't make socket gear give a popup without a gem or people will just auto click it out of habit.

I have almost sold some absolutes this way. VERY close!

Was doing a crafting run and selling off gear that i just made. There was a bit of lag in opening the trade window and since before it is open ctrl click equips an item, i switched to some of my equipped gear first before quickly adding it all to sell. Only a very quick scan of the sale price which seemed a bit too high saved me. Phew!

 

So this is a big YES from me please!

Saw a post today on the forum with this problem, also a player told me they sold a Supreme Gem this way recently too. Maybe this would save support some time answering tickets regarding mistakes? bound to happen often if the population increases.

Key function buy back option. As well option pop up warring you before npcing.
