bonus of new fables set for warriors :  +25 vitality +500 att power

bonus of new fables set for templars :  +25 vitality +200 armor

Big big big deception of course... + 500 att power is 40 dps !!! so 2.5% of my att power

and 25 vit is 500 health (i personally dont care since im warrior)

nothing special ...

I was expecting more cause i thought fables set was something special in the game...

and 25 vit is 100 health (who cares)

nothing special :(

25 vit is 500 hp pretty decent, mhm should probly be like + 50 meelee instead for warriors

Cus that's a bonus i'd expect for a tank

About the only good thing about this I can think of is, hybrids can just mix and match items, since the set bonus is pretty underwhelming.

And we were thinking about interesting stuff like haste, bonus to talents, even new abilities heh

Hmm, I was pretty much expecting the set bonuses to be pretty vanilla. Hopefully they can be looked at in the future once some other pressing issues are addressed.

Still, considering just the raw stats on Fabled weapons, this makes them even better than anything else available in the game right now(for raw damage) although certain classes and builds less reliant on raw damage (Prophets in particular) will probably not invest heavily into Fabled sets.

Would really like to hear the developer response regarding Fabled gear and the quest line that was mentioned about them before(in terms of advancing the items to Level 50, when that update arrives in the distant future).

In the meantime, still saving up those relics!

i wouldve expected more from a lvl 45 set bonus but it is a 2 piece set, there was talk of these weapons growing with you(albiet only a suggestion), one could hope the set bonus increases by 20% per lvl till we reach lvl 50(once released) :)

Then maybe:

mage 25 vit/500 spell attack power

assassin 25 vit/500 melee attack power

ranger 25 vit/500 ranged attack power

prophet 25 vit/500 healing power

templar 25 vit/500 melee attack power

? Just guessing, but didn't really expect cool set bonuses from the start.

200 armor and 25 vit is not great to be honest for my fabled templar set. threat bonus or as someone said to me when discussiong maybe a chance for me to get less stuns or takedowns in rumbles etc would of been nicer and useful to me. 200 armor and 25 vit is not going to do much for me to do anything I could not do before. I needed a dps boost or more threat etc to keep pace. but nope give me more of what I have.

Armor for the Templar set, hmm. I agree that more threat gen, status resistance or something cool(for instance, removing the penalty on Defensive Stance) would be neat!.

That said, flat armor bonus is quite interesting. I need to do some new theorycrafting...

i'm on the fence here.  It is the better than anything else in the game.  Add too much to it and 45-50 content would be extremely easy.  And no, 45-50 content should not be built around everyone having fabled sets...

Bryn -  Prophet - lvl 45

Ullr -   Ranger -   lvl 32

Thud - Warrior - lvl 16

Payn -  Templar - lvl 16

HCS, what is the plan when 45-50 content is released?  Will some ascended dungeons stay available for level 45s to get these fabled sets?

i dont want necessarelly a big powerfull set. I wanted something special thats it. maybe just something we can use in ascended dongeons. Like fable said, he may have a 20to50% less stunt and kicked down etc. it can be acid protection or spell protection i dont know.

id like to ask the healers... If you get a 25 vit and 500 healing power and no haste, do you keep using your old staff instead of fables prophet set?

Yeah, I like the idea of something different like reduced stun/knockdown or increased threat for Templars and some of the other ideas we came up with for WB loot.

As a healer, I am waiting to see if any changes are made to sapphires, or another gem is added.  If not, the fabled set is really not worth it.

+200 armor = 2% def not worth it at all, Bonus set mean's raw stats good let down see +200 armor on Tank not much help for keep argro better 500 att power then +200 armor!

Over all some stat 10% restiance knock down/Stun/slinance Smae 10% chance over some thing usefull.

Frog - Archer - lvl 49

Kazzarat - Templar lvl 49 Skiller

Redsmokegirl - War/sin lvl 49

Sorry but i have to disagree here , I feel the warrior's fabled set is decent with 25 vit and 500 melee attack power .

500 attck power is 27 dps so its almost same as +25 vitality .

And also fabled weopens are not much difficult as it used to be .

Its only a roughly 20 days grind for full set as a supporter .

For warriors , this set has decent bonus like the trinket set . I slight increase can be made but too much would not be balacned . Also less stun /knockdown would be unfair in pvp .

I totally Agree that set bonus should be increased for TEMPLARS .

Still waiting on set bonus for other classes .

Just my views .

EDIT :- For warriors ,if it is supposed to be buffed add another 500 attack power . Adding more vitality may just add lot of vitality . This is the reason why not many opt for much vitality/energy . The vit and mana given by sets sis more than enuff for players to spec into those .

That's why I've never bothered to run it. If there are no haste gems in game, and none of the bonuses are haste, then I can get a better weapon at BT without wasting any time at all grinding another instance.

750 or so hast vs 1k heal power healer mean's take 750 far better option.  Healer is still need for DGN run's.
