My prayers go out to you. I know how difficult it is losing a beloved pet, they are part of the family. And Annabelle is such a beautiful girl.
I don't have the emote yet, but have a *hug* anyway.

I knew she was gonna die deep down I knew she tried to run and hide so I wouldn't have to see her laying dead I know she loved me and I made the end of her life as good as I could I have my memories and her last few years were her best I like to think as she was an abused dog before I got her

aw, sorry to hear that. I know what it's like to lose a furkid. they are/can be our best friends and always give unconditional love.
*hugs* from a stranger but hugs none the less.
Slow but steady wins the race or something like that.
I'm just taking it slow, not sure about the steady.

I totally understand and had a similar situation . I had a choice of letting him go at the vet's or at home but I knew at home was better for him. it's not silly at all loving them as our kids whether we have human kids or not because just like children they need care and love and love us unconditionally.
only difference is one is a human and one is animal but we all are beings and when they been part of our families they just aren't any less important then anyone else in the family. we still gonna love and miss them when they are gone and don't want to see them suffer.

I want to thank everyone for all the kind words of support my Sweet Annabelle is at peace I will soon find peace with her being gone after talking with a friend we figure she was about 16 years old if not older she was a maltese and such a sweet dog even though she was afraid of her own shadow she loved me dearly and I know she did and I loved and still love her with every ounce of my being she was a great dog even if no one else thought so she had a rough start to her life but I made her last years of her life the best I could just wish I had had longer with her

I lost my big lovable rug of a pit bull dog about three years ago. He passed in his sleep with his 2 cats curled up next to his head on one side, and the 5 skunks he adopted curled up next to him on the other side.
He was 7 days away from his fifteenth birthday. The dog never met a stranger, but if you made a child cry, he would get POed big time!
