We need a smack talking TA channel--like the yellow worded banners across the top of the screen so if anyone says anything there, all of the island can read it.
We could add emotes for that 
But if someone talks in TA, arent there talks shown in local chat?

Yes, but I would like it so that the whole island can read it, just not the players in close proximity to you.

It's usually empty as people don't know about it and buys/sells things in world chat instead.
AH will make trading lot easier, so we'll have to wait.
