Dear devs when will you nerf it finally @.@? Today tried to do it with 3/5 fabled gear team others full 45s gear and still rumble is unbeatable, overall arg is pretty tough. If team with fabled gear can't do dungeon for fabled gear then something is wrong, right? Rumble need major nerf also less hp for mobs since it take twice longer to clear ARG w/o Rumble than full ASV.

We suggested to make RG/ARG harder, months ago.  Increase difficulty by making it require skill to do, BUT lower the overall time/grindiness/tank and spankiness of fights.

 

They not only made ARG harder, but take so much time to do.  Majority of wipes in 1st boss ARG is because of a person messing up after 10 minutes of flawless coordination.

First boss fight in ARG is still IMO the best boss in game.

The random crystals from roof are a bit too op in rumble boss. They should be nerfed a tiny bit and i think you will start seeing completions

I had done a small nerf to RG/ARG a little while back, but yeah it looks like just ARG is needing another bit of a nerf if people are really struggling. I'll take a look at it this week at some point.

Bosses are good 1st is really funny, only Rumble need nerf and overall mobs should have less hp, since it's really boring, few minutes per pull to kill bunch of poor champions.

Why do you guys always want a nerf? I'm sure once people actually try beating it and i mean not 5x but like 50-60x and they get perfect team work they'll be able to beat him sometimes... Why does everyone always want everything easier... 

 

Atm Arg Rumble is the only thing that requires skill and perfect cooperation to beat... And the one shotting of the roof only happends when he enrages.... THus beat him before he enrages...

 

Only modification they should do is give an achievement for beating him 1x/3x/5x/10x/25x this way people have incentive to try and kill it even with whipes as it will give prestige :D

 

At endgame you run out of things to do so what do you do? You do speedruns even tho you whipe occaissionally but it doesn't matter it's fun. And Simeonus you do 1 asv every day and an rg and then you're doing nothing which means you're bored half the time. Why not start doing crazy things or things that take a while? A while ago we did 5man wbs we whiped a few x but had more fun doing that than rushing through dungeons. We've done a rumble spree with loads of whipes. No'one complained because it was fun trying to beat it. 

 

If anything they should make bosses even more like ARG Quartenos,rumble which requires team work, Rumble is op becaus it requires focus of the entire team and timing of the entire team. Leave it as it is. And yes you should die when it crits :D. Might let people consider gear switching using redemption/rightious defence combinations. And thus adding an extra dimension of skill to the game.

Alpha is making a compelling argument here, I am genuinely torn as to what to do. My main gripe with leaving it alone is that as far as I know no-one has been able to kill him, and thus it might just be a stretch too far even as a challenge.

 

Currently in the dev build i've reduced the damage of the falling crystals and the crystal bombs by around 25%, is that a nerf too far for the people who want a challenge? I think it's quite a subtle change.

25% that's making it to easy... Why don't they start switching to shield do a rghtious def followed with a redemption after it, and repeat... is it really that hard to do more than hit 5 keys to hit max dps? atm 5% less damage is probly enough to survive it... And yes cus people with decent gemming don't get one shot...

I think part of the reason ARG hasn't been completed yet is motivation. If you need ascended relics, you can just run ASV which is easier on random groups.

Not many people are willing or able to put up with the amount of wipes and time required to beat Rumble as they could get 5-8 (10-16 for subs) relics with no or little repair bills, and especially since the loot is so unrewarding.

I believe ARG should be kept as is for the time being for those who like challenges and something to work towards. I don't believe any changes are urgent at the moment; the fabled set is very attainable without doing ARG.

As for reducing damage by 25%, I'm torn on the falling crystals because surviving those (for dps) is almost entirely dependent on the healer. I've used vit food, armor pots, shield, and righteous def and redemption and still died on some runs, and lived through (not died from crystals xD) others without shield, armor pots, vit food, etc.

I don't think the bombs' damage should be reduced however. Those can be dodged or tanked respectively, if things go right in the run.

Alpha is making a statement but he is a tank if he had 36% melee/range/magic reduction he might talk a bit different,  mages/healers even rangers take alot of damage with aoe, the bombs are one shot to us, YOUR GAME LAGS SEVERELY, so we cant dodge when a spike happens, and when he enrages a team lasts for 60-70 seconds before prophet goes out of mana and has to wait 120 seconds to drink a mana pot. 

 

Still i think you should leave everything as it is cause i cant be hassed to put make perfect gems for my armor and that would help...

 

PS: one things that needs to be fixed is the lagspikes that kill teams.

What about some type of 'hardcore/nightmare/hardmode' thing to cater to both kinds of players?

Just an idea.

See it's doable, and i just didn't feel like trying cus of the rewards... but your whining made me want to kill it. And here you go.

 

It's doable so don't nerf. We tried 4x and every x he enraged, 5th time he enraged at 74k hp but we won. So it's doable. Now stop whining about nerf.

Ps. i'm just saying this cus i get tired of everything having to have nerfed... There should be something ingame that only the best geared people should be able to beat... Tbh there is nothing else which requires Fabled gear... So it's nice that something need fabled gear to be possible... Gives something to stride towards.

I have to agree with lk, ASV and ARG are the dungeons for getting fabled gear.  Now, after more ascended dungeons are added, I have no problem with them being made harder.

They were using shields occasionally for the ceiling hits... btw we did it without obelisks so use obelisk instead of full fable and you have 10% damage more also...

 

And thing is people always want everything more and more easy you already got ASV for easy relics... And still more than fast enough to complete sets like that make rumble so that people with full fable can get a second set faster?
