1. Does spiked armor damage (10/20/30/40)% consider the gross damage or the received damage mitigated by defense?

2. The reflected damage would again be mitigated by defense or not?

3. This question is unrelated with title, but why taunt cant be casted in pvp? In that case spiked armor cant never be activated. Is this an intended mechanic?

I'm not sure about this.  Reflected damage is before your armor but is affected by block and other defense buffs from what I have observed.  I don't know  if enemy armor mitigates it.

Not sure about armor values and dmg mitigation. Haven't paid that much attention when using it.

However, if used in pvp tanks would be way too OP.

Reflect (10%) - reflect damage taken.

So if mob hit you with 100 Hit point, 10 Hit point is reflected back to mob.

Using 10% reflected damage, I actually tested this a few weeks ago against some mid level crustacean and saw that they were not damaged at all by reflected damage. This can only be happened if the reflected damage consider the mitigated damage. That is why i raise the first point there, cause it seems that the reflected damage is the percentage of damage actually taken by tank.

In old thread, I found also that someone stated the same opinion...

If that is the case, spiked armor is counter-intuitive with the tank defense build.

Maybe any devs or some other people who have also conducted a test can give a clarification? ;)

I'm using level 4 spiked armor and it actually reflects more damage than I take.
