My house caught on fire. I lost my property, including my cpu in the fire and I don't know when I'll be able to play again. I'll be back as soon as I can. Happy hunting all.

OH man, that stinks. I"m SO glad that you are ok though!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ya got my Y!M if I can do anything. Sending lots of light and energy my friend.

Thank heavens you woke up in time and were able to escape with no injuries. We'll miss you while your getting your things sorted out. Hopefully you won't be gone too long.

Ohhh man that is totaly rotten luck hit the library occasionaly and let us know how your doing hun. Hope you get things together soon. Maybe your folks insurance will cover some of your things .

For sure, your place with us isn't going anywhere while you get everything sorted. Possessions can be replaced, people can't.

Glad you're ok, but...

the cottage’s smoke detector had no battery and wasn’t working

I think that might be something to look into for the future! :wink: :)

Been there and done that! I lost my house to a fire on March 15 1986. "Beware the Ides of March" hold true meaning to me now. I am very happy you made it out ok. I fortunantly was not home when it caught fire so I can only imagin how fast you heart was going to .
Hope you get back soon, and lets keep a battery in the next smoke detector :wink:

*poke* Hey Mortll, I'm at the town library right now. Good to know that the taxes I've payed for 15 years accually go to something. My folks insurance is covering most property damages and other home owners coverages.

I swear that there was a smoke alarm in the house WITH a working 9 vlt. battery. Why it didn't go off, I'll never know :?

It was the Friday the 13th for me. Pretty creepy. I'm sorry to here you have had a fire too :( My smoke decector had a battery in it, it just didn't start up :evil:
