i am always looking for new players to recruit and i constantly see players die out before lvl 5 -i think we are losing to many new possible players due to the tutorial being confusing (i did the tutorial a while back and was like huh??) also 1 other added note new players and log notifications -with the log notifcation being so far down on the list players dont see it unless they scroll the screen down - so maybe move it up higher so it can be seen easier - so making the tutorial simpler and moving the new log message higher and we can keep more new members

i would hope the cows have some test subjects/players - friends, family, or people in the same business

someone they trust to give them honest feedback - live, in-person, face-to-face conversation would be best - an internet friend would be good also

people who would start the game at level one, and give their opinion

when a problem/issue/complaint comes up here in forum or in a ticket, it is given its' due attention (i have had nothing but good experiences in the ticket system), but it's an unknown person with a problem

a *friend* telling a cow that something is not clear, confusing..."i'm lost, are there any maps to this place?" has more weight than a random stranger

The interface and interaction of this game on a phone or tablet is brutal.. If I joined this game now on one of those devices, I wouldn't even finish the tuturial. Even with my quad core tablet, traveling om the new map is disgusting and the old map is a page load per move and no one has time for that anymore. I can see a lot of created accounts dropping this game right away due to that alone.

I agree with you Rebornjedi on the phone being brutal to use for fs.  If I was starting the game new things are hard to figure out.  I think the idea of new players having a space for their opinion or perhaps some kind of poll of things why they left with option of other, to put in explanation spot, might give some ideas to hcs on improvements for new players retention in starting game. ;)

A lot of games I've played and stopped after a short time have sent out emails to me asking why I stopped playing.. This can be a useful and informational exercise

This. The game needs a mobile interface worthy of the name. Thanks for highlighting the problem RJ.

Good-bye and hello, as always.

Agreed, I compare this to energy driven games on mobile devices it's a perfect game for mobile gaming just needs to be optimized.

Also should send out those emails to the players that have gone inactive might be able to suck them back in.
