This idea was brought to you by Pen_men22 (whatever his name is)

 

His idea: PvP (in TA/areana/group PvP) should only happen with players close to their level; fallensword has this concept; you can only PvP with players that are 5 levels away from you or ahead of you. This will make things more enjoyable and give players equal ground. Also there should be awards for this (Pen_men22 (whatever his name is) has the details on that).


The world is cruel...as will I....

sadly how game is set up with power blance effect was to close gap of lvl's bring lower lvl's closer to that of simluer lvl player.

with suggestion asking removal of power blance, Effective making it so your in range of the player see, Power Blance scaled effect mostly what should be asking for improbemnt's help scale power lvl's better from lvl's.

 

Power blance - How game is set up help lower lvl's with lvl gap.

vs

lvl range - even with lvl range make power blance pointless main point of power blance so not have scaled - close range lvl.

 

Basicly what asking for is better blance of power blance.

Alright, so here's the deal. I have no idea what this pvp zone is, I've never been there, and probably won't in the current situation. It's pretty much broken right now in my eyes.

 

There was a player trying to do his little gathering stuff in that dangerous pvp area, so yes, he should have known that he could be killed. That would be fine, if he actually stood a chance. He would have stood a chance if someone around his level was there to fight him. But no, a maxed out player came and probably 2 or 3 hitted him. Having a level 22 fight in the same place as a level 45 makes no sense at all. The player is at a clear disadvantage. By doing this, it's effectively saying that this area is only limited to level 45's. What's the point in even letting lower levels go there?

 

The suggestion that was...uh...suggested was that there be a level range. If you're x yards into the area, you can only fight players +/-2 levels of your level. And going deeper means the range increases. It would also make sense to have greater rewards at the deeper areas since many players could fight in a large level range.

 

And i'm sorry to say, but the post above by Frog makes no sense to me. Could someone please explain what he/she is trying to say? Maybe it'll shine some light into this matter.

Power Blance, when in pvp area get stack's - buff help off set of lvl to be in line with lvl cap, lvl 30 = have 14 stack giving you bonus help blance out lvl = to lvl 45, This is only stat bonus increase to all stat's

 

Power Blance still at disadvatge of gear - gem's and add higher lvl skill's as well with effect of skill points to use.

 

Effectivly you do have effetive chance to fight higher lvl's

 

Mage lvl 30 easy take out lvl 45

Sin lvl 30 or so can take out lvl 45

Part of the power blance effect

 

What i was trying explain is what asking for is better blance of power stat boast get per stack help blance stats not so much skill or gear.

 

This is how it, Dev have set up pvp area's help lower lvl's have chance in pvp area.

thought as stated farly sure sevral other fourm can explain go in furth deatiles' of power blance.

 

refering to TA open pvp area, as gather your at disavatage speacil if gather get atted, as effectivly stop gather to counter attack, 2 - 3 sec take you to stop to counter attack your perty much dead.

 

So lvl realy has no effect to couter some one who is atting you. Power Blance help you take few hit's nomraly be 1 hit with out bonus stats thought last for 3 - 4 hit's but at least not 1 shot dead.

 

As well there is clear warring msg in place, High chance you will be killed..... Must can't read as well do have open world go to and gather many good spot's vs TA, effectivly you will need Sack cost EP or find some one sell to you for gold, Over all your choise to go there PvP Zone not gathering Zone, PvP mean's player vs player.

 

Any how as suggestion, Basicly ask for better improvemnt for power blance, in effect for all pvp area's.

help close in gap of Skill's - Gear - Gem's - for lvl 30 to lvl 45 can effectivly fight just fine considering using lvl 30 set, as for lvl 10 - 29 you att disavtage when come to gear and skill's even with stat bonus farly week lack of skill point's.

Ah, I think I get it now. And I side with you on this as well. A better system of power balance should be introduced because otherwise, there wouldn't be much pvp. I don't think many players go there right now (it's all a guess since I've never been there myself), and having a level range would make it even less appealing. But as of right now, the area is effectively broken in terms of pvp balance.

 

I'm no developer, so I don't know how hard balancing this stuff would be, but the easy alternative again, would be to just add the level range. Even if it's just temporarily, just add it in. Otherwise players will tear the community apart. There is so much hate going on while discussing this stuff. Both sides see only their views as better, and the pvpers that pick on the lower levels getting a crap ton of hate as well. It's making me not even want to get on while this stuff is being discussed.

No need for lvl scale area in part with low amount of player's effectivly have major issue's.

now if game where to pick up see 1000 + people online is in part some of blance issue.

Untell game see stable popuation of 1k + people online at any given time lvl bracket area's will work better as for now better blance of stat bonus gained is need simple route vs long road, Small Dev as well time have to invest on each area add lvl brack's take more time then chance some coding.

the problem with the balance in my opion is this that though the low levels get the aromour and damage boost to make them lvl 45's they lack the skills that the lvl 45's have so they die easier to the lvl 45's who either want achievements or the tokens the lower lvls might be holding so my suggestion to ya is deposit and bank often

That's a reason why the level range is probably a better idea than buffs for lower levels.

Like I've said many times before, don't add a level cap when it can be exploited since we have a low player base.

Take out the nodes then you can put a level but no one will go since you risk nothing.

Add pvp armor, give pvpers a trophy for their hard work in getting that armor, and make a risking system that does not involve any PvE aspect, don't want people going to TA thinking they get some kind of special treatment for being a PvE player.

To HCS:

I would try to develop a TA risking system ,but i already did and so have many otherd and we have still yet got any feedback of what you didn't like.You guys keep  us guessing of what your looking for in a PvP system for Eldevin, tell us what your looking for and we will provide feed back.

My suggestion is adding a level bracket of 15 levels and nerf the rate you get resources at from 2x to 1.5x. 

I have thought through my idea well, so I don't think any values needs adjusting (and i hope it's a good suggestion).

 

Sorry for not commenting the ideas of everyone else, I did read them, but I didn't understand other ideas than the OPs idea.

The OPs idea was actually a option when the devs reworked TA, but they chose to make it how it is today.
