ok..here goes nothing..reading thru many pages of the possible new pvp/xp system..seems to be a recurring issue.- if xp loss is removed, how that would affect the bounty board in a bad way...no xp loss...no incentive for bountying..and even with new system....still may not cause a great incentive to bounty..
so, make it so that the game controls the bounty...- keep in mind my numbers are just examples to get across the idea
for example.- after "x" amount of stamina is used doing non-bounty board pvp hits.(500, 1000 or more not sure what would be best, but has to be a random amount)...also can be used for "x" amount of gold stolen (again, a random amount)....it triggers the game to put a bounty on that player...
the reward would be calculated by amount of gold that gets sunk during a pvp hit - ex. player xxx get hits..loses 100k in gold of which player xxx stole 40k...60k would get sunk...take 10% of that - 6k and that gets added to that players bounty pool, for when that player does enough pvp hits (stamina from above example), to trigger the game placing a bounty on them...that would create decent sized rewards for bounty hunters
there would be no counter bounty since the game is placing the bounty...
hcs could use same bounty system we have to determine how much pvp/xp could get lost during a bounty..and hcs can figure out how many much total pvp/xp couold be taken on the bb
this idea should keep the bounty board very busy...as i would expect with the new system, many more players would try pvp...more players ending up on the bb. and more bounty hunters..
maybe even a new medal for getting put on the bounty board "x" amount of times...
since many pvpers want to get on the bb, this would take it out of other players hands to place bounties....and not punish them twice with gold...just pvp a lot and you can get put on the bb...
feel free to rip my idea apart or add to my idea...just trying to find a solution to a possible issue..not even sure how hard or easy this idea would be to code..maybe zorg can tell us..
