make it hit 3x as hard...a tank can solo it. and give it 10x as much health.

agree with hp increase bye at least 100% - dmg aspec farly painfull as stated need's tank to kill.

yes let's just smack rakes of health on it and make it 3x hard ........... for no reason. Unless you are of course a person in the game who knows a good few people and could rally a group easily to take the trolls down and then divide up the spoils. Or tag it and wait for your group to arrive or if a solo dude gets there before you. wait until he gets smashed and move in.
Or if they were to update the troll, make it a proper update. I recall people moaning about using super health etc as crappy barriers or illusions to making something hard when you were just making it longer.

That's what I can't stand about the troll--the whole "tagging" of it for the loot. Someone tags it first, then other groups stand back and wait for that person to die so that they can then get the tag. This is supposed to be a world boss, right? That means everyone comes together, right? No. Even though I know that I stand an ice cube's chance in Haiti of winning anything, I'll still stick around to help kill it. Sadly, not everyone does the same. It's a dog eat dog kinda world and I'm not digging it. Why can't the loot rolls be like the other world bosses or PL? This is creating a division as bad as TA. I won't be running to anymore of them, so tag, you're it.

Main issue loot = 2 for world boss that is limited to be more of boss lvl then World boss.
Elite Troll, So not realy World boss thought he dose spawn around world.
Issue is as stated - first tag gain's spoil's regardless of group or not - when come to help killing boss there is no incetive to help.
If boss is taged mean's nothing in it for you to lend hand with killing boss.
PL personly hate loot sys - hate's me still no disc.
Thought Elite troll, need's be tweeked not so much say for more dmg o rhp lazy way make illustion of hard boss but notso much other then making fight longer then it need's to be.
Issue is loot 2, Boss like that should have more loot then just 3 item's - if ment for group of 5 thought easly manged bye tank + healer.
So still issue of lack of need team work to kill, rewards high so with that being so realy not worth it to help some get easy loot.
Speacil boss as he is there is no acvment of any kind or real need kill him other then mount Raven wings in it self limited chance loot - Spawn time around 8 hr's or so - Limited to first tag gain;s loot.
Leve's it to being where not worth it help kill the boss when your not geting = chance on loot.
Doing most of work and yet get nothing out of it and one who did basicly nothing gain it all.

i agree was first there and we tag it and a tank comes along and taunt it so it resets. really low thing to do. ill remember and do so myself next time im on my tank:)

Don't hate the players guys, hate the game. I would not even bother throwing one attack at the troll if I knew I was not in with a chance of the loot and currently that is limited to the group that tagged it.
Guth and Chels came to a troll on EU last night that 4 of us were getting ready to smash, it ended up that we were more concerned with who had tagged it, rather than working together to kill it. (sorry guys)
It needs to be fixed.

Exactly; its also the same with the plasma lord (loot wise)

maybe,, all solutions are right..
give it 5 times as many hp, a lil increase to damage and maybe a spawning minion or two so it cant be solo'd and youd need to at least bring a healer and more players have time to show up for a chance at it, then,
the three players or groups with the highest damage to the troll get a tagged chest, anyone else who contributes gets a chest like that of the benevolent dungeoneer,
needs to be a drop for each group member, eg 4 members in group then 4 drops are available to greed/need.

That sounds so overly complicated it is beyond reasonable. You want me to find a group, assemble a team. Clearly the team with highest dps wins every time in your scenario. Yet again IT IS NOT AN ISSUE IT it can be solo'd or health etc. It is the stupid tagging and how the boss is set up in general and its basic rules and thrown together nature, O I tag it and hum drum yada yada routine. I would go so far as to say change nothing more in this game until steam comes out and the game gets more revenue and staff and the team have time to properly address all the issues in the game. As I don't trust proper fixes to come to this game anymore, as clearly the devs only have time to paper over cracks currently.

it needs to be complex like that behind the scenes or we get what we have here at the moment which is disfunctional and dodgy, id add to my post the group holding the aggro should get bonuses to their damage as two other groups could select 5 dps players, an achieve for 50/100 kills of troll would help too ... i think most of the issue is not enough people are getting enough of anything, either by it being killed so quickly(or if indeed by whoever who first tags it or according to another post a taunt can steal the tag) or a whopping 2 prizes go out no matter how many show up

Skip the tank slip, just grab a healer and a range. Get the range to use basic attack and low aggro skills, Warrior can face tank it while you get spam healed.
3 kills, 3 rolls on the loot... not won anything yet. Troll is def trolling me!

I am not seeking out the troll currently. I killed him in groups the few times I faced him, so I have 0 benefit and I am in essence an outsider perspective. But this all sounds more like not wanting to fix it and more like a select few and friends getting the drops. You know you all have crews so it stacks the odds more in your favor. For some of you it is not hard at all to find crews. Also if you arrived at this thing alone, according the what some are saying, you would be excluded as you have no chance to outmatch a group dps. you get more loot chances in this group. The top 3 groups make the grade for stuff............. sooooooooo pretty soon a few teams will have worked out for themselves they will group together well in advance and then repeat rinse repeat. Stalemate.
Remove the tagging option and don't let one person hog the thing and I guess do whatever the system is for plasma lord, I know shudders haha as that is horrid also or do like world bosses everyone comes along who makes it in time and let faith decide who gets it, AND REVISIT THE SITUATION when steam is released and the pop increases and revenue increases and the staff team can come up with proper mechanics and finally solve the issues.

i kinda see that that cave kill specialist groups may appear but it spawns only a few times a day on each server, PL loot system like u said sucks but it is an option
