Or do they use different ones. Just wondering.

They have their own discussion place I think Fable, I am not a regular Steam user so not 100% sure. The devs have posted a link to these forums though.

Everyone who logs into the game through Steam is given a Hunted Cow account with some stuff automatically generated. If they come to the forums they're able to join in by logging in with their Steam credentials and choosing a forum name. ![]()
However, as Mongo said they also have access to the Steam forums for Eldevin, which many may prefer. It's down to personal preference at the end of the day.

So technically they can't see these forums ever, unless they use the ordinary hcs login area we all use ??

You can see and read this forum without logging in

That is the downside of Steam, it tends to split the community. But the influx of players is worth it. Implementing account level rewards might draw Steam players here (although Valve might not like the idea).
I prefer to continue using these forums and playing without Steam (hopefully I can link, get package, unlink). But in the end I'll probably go with the majority.
Meleager, ranger
Tuor, templar (Inactive)
Deimos, mage
Thangbrand, warsin (Mostly on vacation)
Bart, ??? (bene trades)

Make a "forum" button beside those 3 bottom right buttons already there that directly open the ELDEVIN forums[not the steam one].
add a tutorial tooltip of it too. ![]()
Still thinking about new signature

Yea so I checked through steam. Actually you would never know these forums existed using steam. Unless I missed something. So community is now seperated. Everyone be ready to choose the more active place ![]()

well hope this forum stays alive because not everyone wants to have steam or use it. I tried linking but I didn't really understand how to get my hc acct connected with my steam acct so I think I did it wrong and it just made a new acct. I have an older steam acct ( if i remember the pw) but obviously I have no clue how to do this so rather not mess it up. just hope this forum continues. not like they can't open a browser and go to the forum.
Slow but steady wins the race or something like that.
I'm just taking it slow, not sure about the steady.

I think these forums should be advertised to steam users simply because Steam forums are a pain to use really.
If buff or wave to you in passing, it means hello!
