Hello everyone!! I first played this game last December. I loved it when i first started playing it, and wish i could have continued. I recently started playing again and I am very happy with some of the changes as well as the rise in popularity. I think at this point, I will be around for a long time.

Changing the maximum item per stack from 25 to 50 is a gift. Thank you Dev Team!!

Adding a way to earn free EP is an awesome move!! I've already gotten 6 sacks from doing this!!

Adding Guilds in the future is a big bonus! I hope you guys figure out how to keep guilds intact with the ability to switch servers.

New expansions, active customer support, active GM/DEV on the forums, etc etc, you guys clearly care about your game and that alone makes the game more attractive. Keep up the good work!!

I'm working to be a Jack of All Trades. If you need something gathered, let me know. I won't charge much for gathering it because I'm raising my skills anyway. For farming, though, I need you to buy the compost, scarecrows, etc.. /w me anytime and i'll gather for you as long as i'm not gathering for someone else at the time. (US server)

I just wish they had the money to expand. They clearly want to implement many things we've suggested but can't because their company isn't large enough :/

Of course, there's a simple solution to that: make a TCG game for android and iOS. Not only will it give them HTML5 experience, it'll also rake in cash instantly. :P

asked about HTML5 version back in april? and the response was "absolutely no intention of doing that", which is a pity

No, it won't. HTML5 is one of the easiest and fastest tools for development ever. That's why all of these random nobodies managed to spit out thousands of programs utilizing HTML5 the moment it hit android.

And if HC has enough money to invest into games for Apple products, it sure as heck has enough money to make a TCG game.

----------

The reason they said no to that was that they'd have to completely rewrite the game, which they don't have the staff for. If they had the money, they would.

It's not the same thing as making a bland TCG game. Remaking Eld in HTML5 would take 1000x more effort.

there are lots of cross compilers that will take a java game and make an HTML5 version so it wouldn't take a lot of effort

i don't know much about the eldevin architecture but a quick look on the internet turned up this https://developers.g.../playn/overview

might be worth a look

here is a pros/cons debate http://www.html5rock...e/nativedebate/

anyway you don't need to learn/relearn javascript as you write in java and the cross compiler creates it for you, the graphics capabilities of HTML5 are easily up to java graphics, speed isn't the problem, the problem with eldevin is the lag caused by coms between the client/server and the slowness of the servers so going HTML5 isn't going to make it worse

i can use my touchscreen pc to play the game and it works fine so a rewrite of the interface isn't needed to make it work on a mobile, the only reason i don't use it touchscreen all the time is because dungeons are tiring enough with a mouse and i don't need the aerobic workout :)

we never met since I joined in april but welcome back anyway :)

Slow but steady wins the race or something like that.

I'm just taking it slow, not sure about the steady.
