Okay, I'm going to revamp this because I thought of some more stuff and I don't want to spam this section with my dumb ideas. So here goes...

We need more places to use our skill points. We keep getting cool new quests with skill points as rewards, but we're running out of viable things to use them on. So, with that in mind, here are some ideas...

Enchant booster
Each point added to this skill adds .5 minutes to your enchants, not to exceed a maximum of 15 minutes.
(especially useful for the painfully short doubler skill)

Mana Thief
Each point added to this skill allows you a 1% chance to drain/steal/leech(whatever) mana from a creature while attacking it, not to exceed 25%.
(Mages, feel free to correct me, but isn't the low mana issue a big one right now for some of you?)

And the piece de resistance...make them lvl restricted. Lvl 2000 for the Enchant Boost(because, let's face it, miners don't get very big) and maybe lvl 40K for the Mana Thief. I only say this so we still have to work for something and because mages don't really see the mp issue until they're bigger. That, and the little guys should have to suffer just like the big guys did when they were little.

Thoughts? Opinions? Iago????

Oooh I like that. I second the idea.

*just my suggestion. . .

Cloak penetration

5th tier advanced skill.

.5% chance per point that the elf class "cloak skill" can be penetrated.

Max 50 points.

Skill shrine should be located in lvl 75k restricted realm.

Makes pvp viable again for some of the higher levels where the elves seem to be dominating, the bleeding pansys.

Another thought would to make the next PVP realm one where cloak, shadow form, and a few other class skills don't work. . .

Hero to benjirocks, what else matters?

Hmmmm....I can't say I'll ever be in favour of skills that negate class skills. Though, I do like the idea of a realm that does it. Seems more fair that way. However, I do like the Cloak Penetration and it would be awesome to see it used for NPCs.

Not a fan of a skill that negates my skill, BUT even if someone could locate me part of the time. I'd like to see them come kill me. Hell if I could toggle my cloak skill on and off I would. Sometimes I look forward to company.

On another note, if you start weakening our cloak ability, can we have better transportation?

I agree on all three points. Make it a choice and if the Elf chooses to venture in and they do get killed, they've got no business bitching.

Oh Dear Gods yes! Especially when it's a quest related NPC.

I agree on all accounts. I think that it should also penetrate the shadow form skill. Toggling it on and off would be nice, (shadows have the choice) I remember wanting folks to be able to find my elf character before. . .

I do think that it should only be a 20-40% chance to work, in any event. Yes, that means that the chance is still there, but it also would mean that the player trying to locate is taking more time, more ap and really has to be dedicated to actually find the elf/shadow.

Both these suggestions sound really interesting, definitely possible to implement I think.

The suggestion of making certain PvP realms affect skills also sound intriguing. You think there should be a counter to this, to negate it? As it invalidates the skills, it would be quite harsh, although i'd love to hear more ideas regarding this! Not sure about negating the cloak skill for NPCs, as that takes the fun out of hunting them down. ;)

I'd skip the counter altogether honestly. We'd all be essentially disadvantaged in there, so it'd a pretty level playing field. Just put in a few nice and juicy critters to lure us in there and watch the fur fly. Maybe nix the level restriction and put in a wide enough range of creatures to lure in all level ranges. That'd make it even more exciting because we'd have to watch out for the guys at the top who could turn us into paste.

elves have cloaking , its like that in all the books and movies and such , so they should be able to be invisible , but theyre invisible because they have to be ,as they are of slight build naturally and if not cloaked , would be beat up at school,so they deserve all their class skills and should be able to heal somewhere too(elven magic or cookies or whatever)

that being said , give the other classes better versions of their own skills to match what spirits and angels and demons and shadows and titans can do in movies and books and such

i dont care if i get sneak attacked by elves , i just want my extra possession bonuses to match the rate of growth in the game-i.e. , the crappy percentage of hp and atk given to posession doesnt help much anymore , angelic shield isnt much help anymore , and the spirits should have some better UT and a def bonus for being made of smoke , shadows too
and titans should have even bigger damage because otherwise they suck ap at everything else

and give the humans a skill called 'miracle' with a 2% chance of assassination , because sometimes , hope is all we got as humans

i believe this would bring a sort of balance back to the game , and with balance , comes players, and most of all , hope for the future

Lmao harsh He hasnt been in Zenix Home World has he .... Yeah no magic skills used at all no mp base stats only. That was harsh as a nooblet. I had a very generous higher player come rescue my ars in there she gave me 5 benes to finish up runic hammer. So yeah a realm that negates certain skills and powers would be right up the twisted warped thinking that HCS started out on .

But it does mean he CAN penetrate the cloak - makes it rather naff - just means he uses more AP but the skill is then duff,
