I wish more people had tried it, it really is a unique experience and very very entertaining i love it. I wish more of the people from last night saw this post, I know there are alot of people in favor of games of chance, and I know it would be good forthe game.

There is no point getting people ingame to vote on this HCS already replied.

I'm with the others who are against it. I understand that it can be fun for many but you also have to look at it from the devs' perspective since they'll be the ones dealing with whatever goes wrong.

Also, why isn't there a "No" option in the poll? :P Seems dreadfully biased to me with just there being the "Yes" and "Maybe" options.

About the legalities of it. A game is subject to the laws of the place it is situated in. Il look UK's laws later... I don't know about regulations of player run ones I dint know if internet laws set by un. Will look into it

I told you it'd get shutdown...

Your poll is biased and the odds you offered were crap.

Another thing to add:

If HC were to condone gambling, yes this may increase real-money purchases but it will also hurt this game in many ways that you fail to acknowledge.

1. Teaching children to gamble

2. Charge-backs

3. Scammers

4. Chat spam

5. Support tickets

6. Abuse reports

This is what we do not need:

MaxedCash, this game and it's economy is still developing. It's a slap in the face when I see someone looking to make a quick buck (runescape-style) from a game I've grown to love. Find another MMO to pollute, open a RMT shop and get rich off of, leave this game alone :)

I am very on the fence about the issue. I used to host gambling games back in Runescape when dicing was just starting to become a thing. Yes, youre right in saying its a fun pass time and it definitely has its effects on the economy, but there's way to many variables that can come into play when it comes to unofficial gambling games. The first big variable is that no one is guaranteed to win. In rs dual arena for example, each person bets and those its are taken away from BOTH players, whoever wins is rewarded with the items. The problem with flip of the coin is that it is all dependent on the player, there will be people who aren't legit or who decide to go rogue thus resulting in the possibility of people being scammed.

If for instance the two players had to trade money through a coin interface that showed the amount being bet and the outcome of the coin flip then I can see it working. I.e the person betting puts up 50g then the host HAS to put up 100g (basically host has to always offer 2x of bet or else the coin will not be flipped) and then the coin gets flipped and whoever wins will get the loot because that's how the flip game is programmed to be. Right now the coin is being used in a way that it wasn't exactly intended to be used for and thats a very big issue.

(Sorry for any grammatical or spelling errors I'm on my phone at work)

Theres nothing wrong with trying to make fast money, I know the game is in devlopment and this will help kickstart alot of peoples banks. For those complaining about scamming, it is 100% up to the person betting so if they choose to risk giving someone their money for a chance to gain more who are you to tell them they cant do what they want with their money? As far as legal laws in the UK im 100% certain it is not illegal considering Jagex had staking, dicing, flower games and many other games of chance in their game for over 10 years and still have it. If you dont want to participate in the game then you do not have to nobody would ever force you, it does not pollute the game at all because it is all up to the players choice and nobody is forcing you to play. Many people are interested in the games of chance, and if legality is the main issue im sure eventually once it is cleared up games of chance will be allowed again. It not only helps in game purchasing, but it will also draw in a different crowed of people because it is a very unique style in a very fun mmo :)

Since HCS has commented - can we get this locked? It's going no where really quickly, and will only result in fights.

On top of that - this poll is biased as has been stated by at least 3 people in the thread, since there is no "no" option.

Now I know you're just trolling. A 10% edge in favor of the host (not even counting the risk of being scammed) will not kickstart anyone's bank except for yourself. I resign from this thread.

Your responses are not intelligent or logical responses. If you are upset and cannot handle this maturely please do not respond. If you want to debate this with some actual intellect go ahead, but stating the obvious as this company is not Jagex is obvious, if you are that upset about something that does not effect you please refrain from posting.

I think you either have another account or joined eldevin for the main purpose of gambling, as your name alone is what someone would call a gambling mule account to gain trust on.

Kids believe names for some silly reason.
