it would not effect the chat because the talking is done in a custom chat, or group chat so it would not clog the public. And as stated on your thread, not sure if you did not read it, but gambling with online currency does not regulate as "online gambling" because it is not direct real life money. And the gambling method is through an emote not a gambling software. So it is not possible that any legal problems could occur, once more research is done about it I'm sure they will let us continue.

@MaxedCash, I get that you want to bring a new perspective into the game, and I personally would like to see it implemented into the game as well; however I would like it done in a manner that is fair to all players and has a guaranteed outcome. I get it, the player is supposed to trust the host in not scamming them. With that being said, do you go to a casino and think to yourself "Gee, I sure hope the casino pays me out if I win." No, you don't, because it is regulated and the casino has no choice in the matter. Gambling isn't about luck and trust, it's only about luck. If the devs can't regulate it then there's no point in having it in the game because it will only cause problems.
Also, please stop using RS as an example because it's not helping your case, any form of gambling in that game is now bannable BESIDES dual arena because it is a regulated mini game that is intended for players to gamble their money etc.

As i already stated there is no law against gambling with online currencies, must be direct irl money. Also as stated the chat would not be clogged because we would talk in a custom chat or group chat, I would suggest learning to read better before attempting to argue blindly as well as claiming to be a intelligent debater when you just keep stating the same facts continuously without a valid argument.

We don't allow gambling in any of our games and that will not change in the near future.
I thought this thread would have been dead hours ago..

Please don't consider games of chance. There are LOTS of places to gamble. Go elsewhere if you want to do it. Maybe spend your "winnings" on ep.

It would not be considered "gambling" unless it was with IRL money as stated before hence making it legal. And yes i know, but in mmos its much easier to gamble because the risk is much less because it is not real money, but at the same time gives you that rush on big bets or excitement of winning/losing, let people play if they want to you dont have to.

I vote for yes, so I can report anyone who does it.

You might not scam but it will eventually making it spread like wildfire and stupid people taken advantage of to try make a few EP.
I wonder who would Win All Day, if gambling was allowed in this game.

We do not allow games of chance in any of our games. Mostly it's because it's a whole mess of muddy waters and grey areas. What is legal in one country may not be legal in another country. It's not something we're prepared to get into. And (as Ant mentioned) it's also a ripe opportunity for scammers. What one person feels is fair another person may contact us demanding their money back, even if there's no actual dishonesty taking place.
We don't allow gambling in any of our games and that will not change in the near future.
