For some reason, I think if you have more than 10 to assign, you can type how many points you want to assign at one time. Maybe it's an FSHelper thing but I've only noticed it when I've had more than 10 level up points at a time

It is 10 or more available points to allocate when you get the text box to assign them

if you have 4 or 8 just click the +1 4 or 8 times no need to wait each time for it to reload.

Because of this stupid update, i accidentally added 1 point in armor because of lag. Why change something that already works? Or why not permanently show the input boxes regardless of the number of attribute points?
I think this update was done on purpose so people can make mistakes and be forced to spend 150 fsp to reset attributes. Well that's a sneaky move. You know things are going downhill when game companies resort to these types of tactics to leech $$$ from players.

Pretty sure the update was not a big conspiracy to take advantage of your impatience. Good policy is leave a few LU points unassigned anyway just in case of emergency. Lose a level or few and you don't have to sub-level to get them back. One point mis-assigned or a few left unassigned won't make a big difference in your overall stats anyway once you get buffed up.

That brings back memories. Before HCS introduced the text boxes in the first place, I too mis-assigned points because the page repositioned on loading (extra information from HCS to say I'd just added points) and my rapid clicks (as per katatonic's advice) were in the wrong position when the first page load finally completed.
My recollection is that this change was to make things easier and more obvious for new players. I guess I have long lost the ability to think as a new player, but I really don't see any player (new or old) getting confused by the choice of +/- or text boxes.

Someone, in another thread, suggested that the attributes update client-side first and have a save button where it will make permanent changes. This will benefit both new and old players and will remove any confusion or frustration that players are having with the current system.

What happened with the idea of having "free to allocate" LUP?
I remember HCS liked that idea.

This is exactly what happened to me. During the XP event when lag was horrible, I assigned my levelup points by clicking the Damage button multiple times before a page reload. Then the page refreshed and suddenly my mouse cursor was over the Armor button when I last clicked. I also don't understand what's so confusing about the old interface.

It's not only me who experienced lag during the 2xp event and as I recall there was a rant thread about it here. If it wasn't done on purpose then why change something that already works? I don't want to have unassigned LU points because it's a waste. I don't have to adjust the way I play because of something that was done haphazardly.

OK, this was supposed to be done to make things more simplified for new players. BigGrim has clearly stated that if you have accumulated 10 or more LUP (5 levels folks) the text box opens so you can choose to add them all at once, and this is the way it is (no, I do not use FSH for hunting, only to find gold, actually). I don't do my LUP till the end of my hunt, never did, mostly cuz I get caught up in whatever wonderful quest I happened upon to notice I leveled up sometimes, but also I would rather just distribute them all at once, since I invariably put 1 or 2 into attack to give myself a PvP edge (yeah, big girls and boys, that's how I'm able to clear you) I do think that the text box is better, although I've never really used the new interface without it yet.
Just one old lady's opinion
