Call me a pack rat, hoarder, whatever...but I've saved most of my old, bound junk from previous quests. Most of them I've had for years. I'm talking elemental masks and runes, the longswords, seraphic ring, etc.

What's the chances that these will ever be included again? Could be a cool quest line that revisits some of the old stuff like these.

I'm 100% sure if any of those old Bound items need to be used again HCS will make a shop where you can acquire it, so other than the few usefull bound gear (Kraken Sword and Fushyioma Sword) I believe there is no need to keep then, I believe that must have more important Bound items I couldn't recall, but those are the only two I'm saving yet.

currently you can re-acquire quest-items (if you can't remake them) by submitting a ticket to HCS (along with a sreenshot of your questbook entry for the quest to show that you have had the item before).  So there is no risk for you in getting rid of all those items.

I would like to see two things in relation to this:

1) A separate backpack folder that only quest items can go in, and doesn't count towards your backpack spaces. This would eliminate the need to ever throw away quest items.

2) A shop that sells every quest item in the game given by an NPC (i.e. not those that are dropped or invented), but you can only buy each one if you have progressed to the point of the associated quest where it is given. Would also function as a small gold sink depending on the cost involved. This is quite a bit harder to code, though.

There are a few quest items I have kept just because... i.e The Seer's Ball, the Dwarf Gold Amulet, the Pirate Queen's Diamond.... I kept them for vanity.  I have even sent a quest  item or two for gifts to my dearest friends.

I USED to be the world's worst at ditching quest items.  Quests that were part of a questline broke me of this habit.... Now I check the wiki for each item obtained (the guide doesn't tell you, but the wiki does.... Fix this, BG)  Still, especially since WE write the wiki, there are items missed.

And for those of you thinking you'll have to wait days to get a replacement item.... On Christmas Day, I tried to start a quest.  Yeah, I had ditched the necessary item (obtained from the previous quest), so I submitted my ticket, thinking I would get my item on the 5th, when the office reopened.... Hoofie himself was here on the 26th, and he sent me my item.  They do send them, and they do it post-haste.  Nuff said :)

Just one old lady's opinion
