Nice update :) movement so smoothy .. but when i click twice on map i stop moving then i have to click one more time to move again.. can you fix this?

 

 Buffs level 3000 isnt that interesting is there chance to rework them?  none of them seems desirable or useful

That's how it was designed. Once you start moving, you have to hit the stop command (clicking elsewhere, using a fast keystroke, or I believe hitting 'S') before you start up a new route for your character. That is part of what makes it smoother.

I was going to hunt a Titan....but alas there is none there whatsoever!!!...apart from the Elementals and CoG(which has been known to hang around for up to a month plus)

 

This is not a coincidence. With Titan Doubler being so new, lots of people will want to try it out. I think titan hunting will settle down some from this level, but it won't sink back to previous levels where some titans would sit there secured but not cleared for weeks.

You're looking at it like a PvPer's buff rather than what it is. A defenders buff.
 

 

If it is a buff used for defending then why in the heck is it listed as an Offensive buff instead of a defensive buff?

And in the buff description, it would probably be helpful to switch the word "enemies" to "attackers" in order to clarify a bit what the buff actually does and how it activates.

it is a defenders buff and does not apply to attacking. This is why I suggest the change in wording and perhaps moving it to a Defensive buff rather than Offensive. Although without a clear answer from Biggrim its really hard to tell what the buff does either way.

I've no time to test all the changes now, so I'll comment on what I could gather on the forum.

Teleport:
My major concern is about what that will do with Titan Hunting.
My opinion is that should not work with Titans not secured, but I can accept it after few weeks of testing.
But, that should NOT work with Seasonal Titans.

Titan Doubler:
With Teleport that will be terrifying, but if that means a new era for Titan Hunters the only thing I can do is accept it.
But, make sure that don't work with Seasonal Titans and the 4 Elemental Titans.
Seasonals: They are killed fast enough already, with Doubler will make impossible to slow connection players have any chance.
Elementals: If you're doing the Elemental kills means that you are just starting at Titan hunting, in most cases, so you need to learn how that works, doing 125 kills is way easier than doing 500, please, keep it on 500.

Immobilize Titan:
PLEASE DON'T DO IT.
As far as I can remember, Immobilize Titan would work like an Animal Magnetism, making the Titan Rebirth at the same spot.
With Teleport skill that is not needed, according to the numbers of players from the same guild the Titan could be killed without it even moving more than 25 times or so, or worst, if we get 10 players hunting the same Titan is very probable that the Titan don't move at all.

Invert:
That is just crazy, don't work.
35% of chance is waaaaay too much.
Even way, the buff is terrible, please rethink this properly.

Reign of Terror:
Too powerfull, make it reduce only the stats of the Leader Defender of the Relic, not on all Relic stats, that would be more reasonable.

Critical Strike:
All the Enhancements buffs give 0,1% per point, not 0,25%, that would kill Armor Setups, please keep 0,1% per point, or even better, make it PvE Only.

Layered Armor and Defensive Aura:
No sense to make it 2000 and 2500, please make both the same level.

Fumble:
Good buff, but make one for damage too, at the same level.

Quest Hunter:
That is concerning about the code thing, the buff is good, but:
- Be sure to make it don't work on Titans.
- Make it not gives more x XP gain.
- Clearify the description, something explaining that with the 4x buff, if you need to kill 100 creatures, you'll need to kill only 25, but only for that, not with Item drops.

Invigorate:
Maybe extend the time from 90 minutes to 120~180 minutes? 
It's an offline buff most of the time.

Sometimes when I go to random players profile, a level 1 player with no name that joined 01/Jan/1970 appears that have recruited 5766 active players to the game. When I click on anything on the profile I get redirected to the main page.

Here an idea to rework on titan doubler buff to be more reasonable and don't make epic prices to be devalued so fast:

 

It could be 0.2% per point chance to gain 2 kills in an titan after killing him instead of 1 kill

 

At level 175 would be 35% chance to gain 2 kill after killing the titan once

 

(that would help titan hunting and still make it to be an reasonable good titan hunting buff)

 

[This rework suggestion would make titan hunting to take about 26% less time, instead of 75% less time the way it is now with 4x kills].

 

1/1.35 =  0.74074 => so with that buff on it would take on average 74% of the time it would take titan hunting without that buff.

 

1/4 = 0.25 => the way it is now

 

and when players be able to get teleport it may even reduce time to titan hunt again, let's say 20~40% (about less 30%) => 74% X  0.7( which is 1 less 30%) = 51.8% normal time (which is about 2 hours)

 

But if keep titan doubler the way it is: 4x

 

it would be => 25% X 0.7 = 17.5% normal time (which is 40 minutes on average/ faster hunter could even get an secure in about 30 min that way).

1. Imagine the further deflation that would happen to epics in the long run because of these new buffs :(

2. Imagine this during seasonal titans :( 

3. Imagine the number of titan hunters that would quit because they spent so much time getting progress on their titan medals/not having the benefit of these new buffs :(

 

Apologies if these issues were already brought up in the 150 comments above, just giving my 2 cents as an FS player who has spent countless hours titan hunting.

1) FUMBLE is "almost" the same as FLINCH

 

FUMBLE = +0.1% per skill level reduction to attackers attack when defending a PvP attack.

FLINCH = 0.1% per point decrease in enemy's attack stat

 

they are "almost" the same with the exception that FLINCH works on both the attacker & defender BUT FUMBLE only works on the attacker !!!

 

2) INVERT

 

I already posted why this skill is "bad"

 

2 players tested the skill invert:

they were the attackers (with INVERT activated on themselves) and their targets on BB did not have the skill activated !!!

for both players INVERT activated which should not have happened if it was really "a defeners buff" !!!

 

a BIG NO to this skill !!!

 

it seems to me that in both cases these 2 skills were designed for "defending" PvP attacks !!!

 

Um, it makes perfect sense. If for people who don't wanna be attacked to have this active to really mess with a PvP attacker.

 

what is the next skill going to be, one that randomly switches ALL 5 stats of the attacker to really mess with a PvP attacker????

 

seriously I thought we wanted to increase PvP activity and NOT the other way arround !!! sad.png

 

3) TITAN DOUBLER

 

a guild mate just solo secured a titan in 50 min (with titan doubler) which should have usually taken him 4 hours !!!

 

that is 4 times faster than normal !!!

 

with TELEPORT it might have taken him 35 min (estimates) and with TITAN IMMOBILIZE then less than 25 min (estimates)

 

from 240 min (=4 hours) to 25 min, that is about a TENTH !!!

 

please take a look at the SCOUT TOWER and see what titans are currently "alive" !!!

 

soon all the titans will end up like the current "Collossus of Gurgriss (titan)", is that really what we want? mellow.png

My warped sense of humour finds it amusing that Titan Hunting is now a more dead activity than the Bounty Board :D

 

On a serious note though, is this really what was intended?

 

I personally spent hours fighting through rubber-banding on maps recently to clean up on titans purely to acquire tkp to attain items rather than buy inflated priced items in AH. I don't feel that I have lost out as it was my decision to fight through bugged maps for hours. However, the introduction of Titan Doubler has already shown quite clearly in a matter of hours that it is detrimental to the game. There are NO titans to hunt.

 

The logs show that those that have spawned are being killed within less than 2 hours..not just Secured but dead Dodos.

 

My concern here isn't about profit to be had but merely gameplay negated totally by this one buff. Log in and not even a titan to clear up in my spare few hours if I so choose to because there are none in the realms to be had.

 

A dying bounty board has been a concern for a long time, so I as a player ventured into other realms of play and now that is dead in the water too.

 

Please do not make me resort to gaining levels only. I can't think of anything more boring in gameplay styles personally, especially with the massive stam gain restrictions in place.

I agree bro, I was going hunt titan too but all is dead, only what you saying same alive is elementals titan and CoG

 

I soon can buying 9 epic setup for 100 fsp or maybe 100 fsp later to expensive for 9 epic item :P

Ok in firefox doing titan hunting rubber banding is worst then ever so thats not fixed and action list says titan is there and i  alone on titan but yet says can.t not kill it .I see no improvement whats so ever on movement on map.

I can change route without using S ...

 

what im saying if i click on certain square then abit later click on same square before reaching it character will stop

Using 'S' to stop and change path made zero difference.  We rubber-banded everywhere, often being sent back to a place we didn't come from! 

 

I found I could most times only walk to the titan spot if it had already moved.
