We're certainly planning to send invites to all of your current friends so you won't loose your current friends. This will mean a slightly extended downtime while we generate all the friend invites.
As far as content is concerned, we're getting fairly close on the next batch and we will update you all about that soon as we'll be increasing the level cap again very soon.

This means lvl 50 and new dungeons/gear etc coming soon? I thought that was months apart!

Yeah the friendship is mutual and agreed by both sides so is added to both players. If one removes the other afterwards, then the friend is removed from both sides also.
Why is this necessary? Some people may not care if others add them as friends, but don't necessarily want all those people on their own list. On the side of the removals, same thing; people might get a full friends list, or decide they don't want "player is online/offline" messages from someone, but don't necessarily want to "break the friendship" by forcing the other player to also remove them from their list.
Will players on our Blocked list be prevented from sending Friend requests? Also, I asked this earlier in the thread but it has not been answered, so in case it was missed: Will players on our Blocked list be prevented from sending us mail in the new mailboxes?

yeah sure it has been said. but with ths mutual friend list, we need something like business assoc (for trading) and enemy for TA pvp. and frankly can we PLEASE FREAKING ABOLISH the Do-Not-Disturb option. or tweak it to where people can see you on enemy/friend or /who list. you still cannot talk to them, or /where them. but a /who realm will solve this.
.....althought if put on enemy list. /where would still work. the whole point of do not disturb SHOULD be, i am questing.foraging.crafting and i do not want to talk to anyone.

Yah dragon, been thinking the same thing. I'm happy for the mailbox system, I've wanted that also. I officially give up on the auction house and will no longer pay attention to the rumors. I've been playing for one year now and the talk then is the same as now. lul ![]()
